Hey, this forum locale brought a bit of value last week (7-3-1, .700). That’s despite the NG overall season record (27-29-1, .482). With lots of chalk, the box likes the following for week #5: 1) VirginiaTech(-2.5)/Pittsburgh 2) Mass(-4.5)/EasternMich 3) SoAlabama(-13.5)/LA-Monroe 4) SMU(-20.5)/BostonCollege 5) FloridaSt(+2.5)/Virginia 6) Nebraska(-14.5)/Maryland 7) ArizonaState(-3.5)/Baylor 8) Georgia(-24.5)/Vanderbilt 9) GeorgiaSt(+1.5)/OldDominion 10) MiamiOhio(-14.5)/BowlingGreen 11) TexasA&M(-14.5)/Arkansas 12) SouthFlorida(-5.5)/Temple 13) WashingtonSt(-2.5)/FresnoState 14) USC(-9.5)/Washington 15) OregonState(-3.5)/ColoradoSt 16) TexasTech(-13.5)/Colorado 17) TexasSt(-3.5)/SanDiegoSt
Week #3 (9/19) was the point of past adjustment, and since then the top-nine performance has been positive (13-5, .722). Rank-value is a systemic attribute, and a worthy measurement tool for volume purveyors. I often post an update on Saturday and, if I read the tea leaves correctly -- volatility has crept into the algorithm. Which means (disclaimer), some of the above might fall away and be replaced by others tomorrow morning (???). Just the Human Administrator......I merely convey what rolls onto the output screen.
We have 56 on the board; two less than last week. Ample opportunity for all reading this, especially for cappers who have the wherewithal to assess them all. Good luck, TheKingfish
