Imbued with the usual volume, last week’s post contributed to the cause (11-5, .688). Plus, if rank-value can be considered a worthy attribute -- the system produced nine winners in the top twelve.
In the big picture though......with the first three weeks as a performance pull-down, the full season stands at .544 (49-41-1). And, having the forever tech ability to look at every game, the algorithm has outputted these for week seven: 1) KansasState(-3.5)/Kansas 2) JamesMadison(-9.5)/GeorgiaSt 3) Temple(-19.5)/Charlotte 4) Wyoming(-7.5)/NoIllinois 5) UAB(+4.5)/EastCarolina W 6) SMU(-9.5)/Virginia 7) Buffalo(-7.5)/Mass 8) OregonState(-18.5)/WashingtonSt 9) Baylor(-5.5)/TCU 10) SoMississippi(+6.5)/ArkansasSt 11) MiamiFlorida(-20.5)/FloridaSt 12) NorthDakotaSt(-14.5)/Nevada 13) Northwestern(-7.5)/MichiganState 14) OklahomaSt(+4.5)/Houston 15) Kentucky(+6.5)/Oklahoma 16) SamHouston(+1.5)/WesternKentucky L
The system received a major-adjust prior to week three (9/19). That particular week failed to bring success (7-8) but, full disclosure, there were a few under-hood bolts that went inadvertently un-tightened. The Human Administrator relies on an evergreen data collection process, which (theoretically) keeps the vehicle pointed in an ‘improving’ direction. At least, that’s what the HA likes to believe.......
Nonetheless, over the last four weeks, the algorithm’s top nine have performed respectably (27-9, .750).
59 games on the board; one less than last week. Board volume (opportunity) remains a good thing. Good luck, TheKingfish
