fishy line imo...how in the world is michigan going to stop wisky? Line seems awful short in this situation (wisky just running up 80 plus points, currently ranked near the top of all 1 loss teams in the country) and the line is this short?? No way I could back Michigan here, as that defense is just this side of a trainwreck, but at the same time that line has me worried. Most times at first glance when something seems to good to be true, I get burned bad (for me at least)...BOL though

Michigan will probably win out right & dont look at what Wisconsin did last week, that wont happen this week.

Michigan WILL NOT win this game...I have followed UofM football for the last 15 years. This is a letdown spot and sandwich game before Ohio State. On top of that Wisconsin will dominate them on offense and control them on D. Please do not do this to yourself. I really hate when people blindly fade a side because of a "fishy" line. Wiscy being a -5.5 fav in the Big House is ONLY the 5th time in the last 20 years (I only went back to 1990) a visitor has been fav over the Wolverines in the Big House. Vegas respects that and will not make Wiscy a TD or more fav in this spot. If they did EVERY UM Homer/alum would unload on UM and drive the line down Anyway.
In 1995 the #1 ranked team and undefeated OSU came into the Big House as a -8 point fav (they were beat in a Upset). 1998 PSU was a FG fav, in 2009 a dominating two loss #8 OSU was a 10 pt fav in the Big House...this year Iowa was a fav and 2 years ago Wisconsin was a -4.5 pt fav and lost by giving up 20 points in the 4th.
The fact that Wiscy is a fav is historical by itself. The fact that they are laying more than a FG is detriment to how talented they are. The fact they are a -5.5 fav (3rd largest for a road fav in the Big House since '90) suggest that Wiscy will win flat out. In the 3 upsets or covers in the past that beat the ranked road fav was lead by a GREAT defensive effort.
In 1995 the defense was led by All Americans Charles Woodson, Jason Horne and Jarret Irons. Thats 3 All Americans on defense on a scrappy 8-3 team as 8 point dogs AT HOME! Now that if anything was a fishy line that was one. In 1998 Dhani Jones and James Hall (both of whom are still starting IN THE NFL) led a stone walled defensive efforet against PSU. In 2008 John Thompson returned an int for a TD to shift the momentum of the game and was deciding score. With that said...Who in the hell on Michigan's defense is or will be an All-American, will play on Sundays or better yet will make a tackle for loss against John Clay and company
Sorry for taking over your thread but if UM wins on Saturday it will be the BIGGEST upset in the Big House BY FAR. But that simply will not happen with how bad the defense has been and this being a sandwich game before the "Big Game"...so to be forewarned is to be forarmed
