Ole Miss vs. Miami

Ole Miss played a great game beating the Big Brother in the SEC.  What a find this Trinidad Chambliss has been for the Rebels, the kid is really good and the big stage pressance is something to talk about.  Miami comes in with a stout Defensive front that gets after you.  I think Ole Miss has exactly what you need to beat this front.  

1. Play with Tempo-  Ole Miss plays fast hurry up ball, 20th in pace. Ole Miss can tire out the Miami front by playing at a fast pace.  Miami is not deep on the line and the Defensive front did not look the same in the 2nd half.  Miami DT Amond Moten also left the game with an injury.  

2. Run it - Slow down the rush by running the ball.  Ole Miss averages 180 RYPG and capable of running the rock.  Make that Miami D line chase Chambliss around on some scrambles.  Showing the ability to run will slow down the pass rush. 

Miami lost to SMU who plays at a fast pace (25th) and has a mobile QB. SMU QB Jennings went 29/44  365 yards in that game.  

I think Chambliss and this Ole Miss offense has what it takes to move the ball, extend drives and tire out the Miami horses up front.

The problem, as always with ole miss is their defense.. Miami might just pound them to death on the ground much better than UGA was capable of running the ball this year and run that clock forever.

 Agree on miami controlling pace...like the Under 52 betting...Definitely Ole Miss is a live dog...

I think Georgia has the better rushing attack with QB Stockton and Ole Miss did well slowing it down to only 124 yards.  58 below average 

It is no secret what Miami is going to do and that is pound the rock with that O line.  I thought the Ole Miss Defense did well holding their own and getting stops.  Bend don't break and execute on 3rd down. The Miami offense is kind of predictable and can be stopped. 

it's styles and match ups.. Miami OL is gonna be a far tougher thing to handle for Ole Miss, UGA has been barely scraping by all year in a bad SEC conference.. Miami offense isn't any good either but if their lines did that on both sides to Ohio State, they're gonna be hell for Ole Miss..

 Keep running it at Ole Miss and wear them down. Miami should win by more than 4 pts.

ole Miss not only can't have an off day even against great defenses, but they let bad offenses move and score way more than they usually do.. like UGA did both games

 The Miami offense did not do much vs Ohio state and Texas AM.  The Ole Miss Defense is more than capable of getting stops.  Louisville and SMU handled it well and expect the Rebels to do the same.  
The Miami defense lacks depth and lost 2 players last game.  I Think the pace could create issues for the Miami Defense.  

Trinidad Chambliss has IT ! 

Miami loss to SMU stands out. The mobile qb playmaker is a threat to anyone. In some ways ole miss is similar. Can Miami make the right adjustments this time? 

I know we're not pretending that Ole Miss defense is in any way comparison to A&M or Ohio States defense, they have one of the worst defenses i've ever seen in the SEC. 

I like the under . Miami has a great defense but a slightly above avg offense but they did play 2 tough defensive teams Ohio State and Texas a&m

I that TC can be contained, with disciplined athletes...I think the continuity of the coaching staff at Miami will have a positive impact this week...Those assistants at Ole Miss including Weiss did a wonderful job against predictable Kirby Smart and UGA...but, can they make that magic again 10 days later with at least 1/3 leg out the door...If they were smart, they would tell DBag Kiffin to pound sand and stay at Ole Miss...I think unless MC makes bonehead mistakes like he has been prone to do, I think Miami will win and cover...

Just so you know before overtime, SMU had zero rushing yards.  

Miami playing it's 5th on the road is kinda concerning to me, of course we know the adage that D travels.
