Ohio State MONEY LINE +180 --Write Up

I have everything in my account riding on this & I'm gonna tell you why.

Ohio State has a head coach who has already won two National Championships at Florida. He's been there. He's one of the best coaches in College Football. He even went undefeated his first year at Ohio State but they weren't allowed to play in a Bowl game. Oregon's HC has never been there. 60 percent of the public is on Oregon. All the suckers are on Oregon. Mariotta is overrated. He is inaccurate at times and over throws his WRs more than people think. Also, their top 3 WRs on the depth chart are out

Ohio State has the big guys up front to dominate Oregon's mediocre D-line. All of Ohio State's lineman are 5 star athletes. Ohio State has 5 star athletes all over the field. Oregon doesn't. Oregon depends on the hurry up to wear teams down in the second half. Urban Meyer is prepared for this. The line is over-exaggerated because Oregon blew out a team who was very overrated all year, Florida State, who QUIT in that game. Meanwhile, Ohio State just scored 42 on Bama who has a WAYYYY better front 7 than Oregon does. Ohio State is the bigger & better team in the trenches. And they have the coaching advantage. Any QB in that system can succeed. Cardale Jones is playing w/ confidence after the last two games & they'll move the ball at will on this weak Oregon D. Oregon will score too, but Ohio State will force turnovers and win 41-33.

Ohio State +3.5 1st Half- 380 to win 330

Ohio State ML--- 535 to win 960.

Ohio State +12.5 & Colts +16--- 435 to win 360.

Ohio State +12.5, Seattle -1, New England PK, & New England/Indy OVER 47----480 to win 1200

OK, so you have 13 pros for OSU with no cons.......0 pros for Oregon and 13 cons......hmmmm!  Looks as a predetermined pick.  

.....nothing positive regarding Oregon's offense, defense, special teams, kicking game, coaching......?  Nothing? Da.mn, this is too easy, right?

The coaching match up is one that many are overlooking. Meyer has been here before, and I am certain that preparation and in game adjustments will favor the Buckeyes.

I don't know man. Oregon is on roll! Beating FSU by 40! Come on man! Ohio ST barely knocked out Alabama in lost game. Oregon can win this by one TD!

For the record, I went 4-0 on the playoffs and took Oregon -10 vs Florida State, MUG. Took both overs and Ohio State getting 9. I thought they'd cover bc the committee wanted to make it look like "they got it right." I still think TCU got jobbed & is the best team in the country, but I'm sold on Ohio State after what they did to Bama's front 7. Ohio State is one of the teams that has enough depth to play w/ Oregon. Mariotta is missing his top 3 WRs on the depth chart. Does this not scare Oregon backers? Or the fact that their coach will be feeling the pressure of the big game?

I think you are correct here, Ohio State is too physical for Oregon, and they have speed to match this team, add the wr problems for Oregon and I just don't see how they are favored here.  OSU hits them in the mouth like Stanford used to do and this team will go away, GL

good call, OSU has pretty good speed for a BIG10 team and their OL should dominate.  may take awhile to adjust to the speed of Oregon so I would leave out the 1st half +3.5.  Love teaser OSU +14, Sea -.5 and Indi +14.5

FSU had like 100 turnovers, especially fumbles, some of them was unforced fumbles.

You forgot to mention that Oregon has never beaten Ohio State.

I think you mentioned the better athletes, more size and physicality, and also the superstar coach angles. You did mention that some of the flashy players of Oregon are not playing.

I think you got it covered. Yeah, and the stupid public all over Oregon--you got that too.

I read your entire write up and it simply sounds bias. You're not looking at the bigger picture. I agree Urban Meyer is a great coach but he only won in Florida because of TALENT. Ohio St realistically should not even be here. TCU deserved it. Second, it doesn't matter if Ohio has the better O Line, because they will need to convert passing tds to win this game. Ohio st beat Alabama because they were way too overrated and Sims was just too inexperienced. Mariota is a seasoned senior with 4 Years of big game experience. Oregon has been knocking on the door for a couple years now and they will break thru because Marriota and the ducks wide range of offense. Ohio st needs to maintain defense against oregon for 4 full qtrs And that's a lot to ask for.

Mariotta vs a "third string QB" this is too easy. Not so fast my friend. Ohio State has a pass rush. Oregon doesn't. Oregon's D-line won't touch Cardale Jones in this game. Mariotta is inaccurate at times. He's missing his starting TE, two top WRs, & starting CB is out too. I'm outting my money where my mouth is. So if it loses, my BR will be hurting not your alls.

Football games are won in the trenches. Ohio State is better on both sides of the ball. Cardale Jones has won two straight Championship games by scoring 101 points in both of them. I think it's time to stop claiming him as a "third string QB." He has a higher football IQ than Braxton Miller.
