Nice week last week with Purdue winning outright. That game was really never in doubt. On to week 6...
We stay in the Big 10...this is the week Cig and Co. get humbled. Huge spot for Nebraska. This program has been scratching and clawing to get back into the conversation and this is the week I think it happens. There's no bigger look ahead spot than this week for IU. They have a massive home match-up vs Ohio State next week and you're kidding yourself if you don't think this team is looking ahead. I'm not sold on Hoover. Too many turnover worthy throws and that offense/defense isn't the same as the 2025 unit. There are holes. Look at the NW game - while I think NW is improved, that's IU's singular test and it almost backfired on them. IU and Nebraska are almost identical in their offensive metrics. Colandrea has been really solid and efficient. I get it, I get it....MAC, ND, MSU, Maryland...etc. The non conference & B10 openers were weak. I'd argue they did exactly what was expected of them by dominating both sides. Their EPA metrics on offense are top 20 nationally and they sit 25th on the defensive side while IU is a stubborn 44th. Sagarin sits at just under 2.0 on the ratings. To me, this is all about the home atmosphere I expect for Nebraska and this being the biggest game that program has had in YEARS. This will be a one possession game and if I can get 7.5 points, I'm going to take it.
4*** Nebraska +7.5 (-112)
Might add more later...
Best of luck!

The Bruins are on their way back under Chesney. I really like how this team is being built on both sides. They have nearly a 70% rushing success rate this year while scoring 45 pts again and stoutly averaging 18 ppg on D (Purdue game included). There's nothing consistent about Oregon this year - honestly, I think Raiola is a better pure passer and QB than Moore. Back to defense - UCLA is a top 10 team in EPA/play and 10th in yards allowed/Rush. But wait, how are they going to move the ball vs this Oregon defense? UCLA is averaging over 7 yards per Rush (1st NCAA) and have run blocking lineman you'll see play on Sunday. Their schemes are solid and they find windows to develop the play action. As much heat as Iamaleava got for the transfer process (UT), he's been consistent and a good leader of this offense. This will be a punchers game, so I'm of the belief this one is close late and 10.5 is too much. Upset alert is on...give me:
