wow! I live near NT kinda right off the Blvd. we are pretty much neighbors. Im only 24 but started gambling on here in January. Made $2500 during college bball tourney and $2500 before that but blew that lol. Ive learned you can't get too greedy in this business.

very good points. I was just playin with you. I think BG will be crap this year as well. Tyler Sheehan is horrible and after his first year I thought he would be good. Wrong! Last year he just sucked and I think they should put Freddy Barnes back it- thats when they scored all the points. ive never seen Troy play but they should beat them at BG first week

The 2nd half of the year GB could be much better ....
 
Might have some good value if they get out to a 1-4 or Worse ATS start...
 
Funny I liked Barnes Better as well , although Sheehan might not be the problem this year ...

The Rockets have a new HC Tim Beckman who was the DC at Oklahoma St. the last 2 years and was the CB coach at Ohio St. before that.. Needless to say I am not sold on Him
 
Looking for SR. QB Aaron Opelt to have a breakout year after 12 TD's and 7 INts LY...
 
RB's Morgan Williams So. (1010 Rushing 6.0YPC) and DeJuane Collins(700 Yards 5.5 YPC) form a very good duo...
 
WR Stephen Williams 6-5 199 lb caught 71 Balls LY , While I Don't believe that he has the 4.39 Speed the Rockets timed he is clearly one of the MAC's most gifted WR's
 
The O-Line is stockpiled with only 1 Missing from the 2 deep.. the 97 Career starts returning is 13 in the NCAA,,
 
The Defense can only be better after getting Burned so bad by the Pass LY allowing 24 TD;s with only 10 Ints..
The Main Reason was the Rockets could not get to the QB registering only 10 Sacks
 
The LB's and Rover Racked up 289 combined total Tackles LY
 
I Look for NEW HC Beckman who is a former DC to  blitz more in his 4-2-5 Scheme ... 
 
The Schedule is very hard the First 4 weeks with games at Purdue, Hosting Colorado, vs Ohio St at Cleveland . and then a long trip to FIU ...
 
Toledo should win all 4 MAC Home games

Barnes was in a few of my classes. Great athlete but dumb as hell and rarely showed up. Who is GB? you mean BG? lol. I hate Toledo but they do look good this year and had a couple good wins last year namingly at Michigan

Toledo does look pretty good on paper this year but the out of conference schedule is very tough and they might be hard pressed for a 6-6+ season ....

Ohio Has a awesome schedule IMO and shoul catch some breaks along the way... Solich has his best team Yet ... Should be some Great Value with the Bobcats this season ... I am shcoked that the line is so low vs UCONN i was hoping for 6+

RB Reggie Arnold was 1st team SBC LY rushing for 1074 (5.5) 7 TD's
Backup SO. Derrick Lawson had a breakout FR. season rushing for 7.2 YPC
As a team the Red Wolves AVG 203 YPGR
 
All 3 returning starters at WR are SR's ...
 
The O-Line has some ??? with only 19 Career starts returning ..
Although last year they only had 1 starter back this year they have 2
 
The Defense played way over their heads LY only allowing 23.8 PPG
Holding foes to 125 Rushing yards per game and registering 26 Sacks ...
 
DE Alex Carrington was SBC Def POY LY making 19 total Tackles for a loss..53 Tackles and 10.5 Sacks
 
The Schedule has 7 Road Games
 
Be careful Arkansas St has not had a winning ATS season since 2004 and has a combined ATS record of 10-18 vs the SBC over the last 4 years ...
 
I might back them Week 2 at Nebraska if catching 27+
After that I might only play them as a Small Dog or Small favorite in the right spots ...

Very nice schedule to work with Missing both CMU and WMU from the WEST...
The Bobcats will be a Major player for the MAC EAST crown
 
I really Like Both QB's
Plenty of experience
Boo Jackson who struggled at times with turnovers is back after throwing for a Bobcats record 19 TD's
Boo is a nice dual threat...
Theo Scott while not as mobile might have the better arm and was the starter last year until he broke his collarbone ..
 
 
RB's Harden and Garrett both return and more will be needed than the 129 yards rushing per game Ohio put up LY
 
The WR's look good with Taylor Price 51-694 5Td's and Lavon Brazil coming back...
 
The O-Line does have some concerns
Having Very Green Depth
If  Injuries mount a winning season might be in trouble ..
SR. C David White should be just what the Bobcats Need on the Line and could be the Glue that holds this unit together  
The 40 Careeer starts reurning is 101 in FBS
 
 
 
The veteran D-Line needs to make more plays in the backfield
Monster DT 6-1 345+ Marcellius Williamson is the key to improving the run D that allwoed 158 Yrds per game LY...
More of a pass rush is needed from the Ends ..Kris Luchsinger should
 Breakout in his Sr Season..
 
The Back 7 Looks very good on Paper and Ohio should improve on their 27.3 PPG allowed LY
 
Damage control is neeeded..
The Turnover Battle will be Key ... Last year the Bobcats finished 110th in the country in TO margin losing 17 Fumbles and 14 costly INTS while only forcing 19 Turnovers
 
Predicting Ohio will go no worse than  4-2 at Home , with 6-0 being possible...
on the Road the Bobcats will have some Value as well where 3+ wins seems within reach...
 
I will be Backing Ohio ATS atleast 7+ Times this season

Bringing in HC Brady Hoke,  OC Al Borges  and DC Rocky Long ....
 
Hoke amazingly turned around Ball St... 
a usual MAC Basement dweller ...
 
Al Borges last was the OC at Auburn 2004-2007, Auburn led the SEC in scoring in 04 and 05... Borges has also been the OC at Oregon,CAL and UCLA...Finalist for the Broyles award in 97 and 988....
 
Rocky Long is a defensive mastermind ...Producing a very good and aggressive Defense at New Mexico for the last 11 years
 
15 Starters(8/7)  and 49 Letterman return this year
 
So. QB Ryan Lindley had a decent RFR season throwing for 2653 yards with 16 TD's and 9 Ints ...
 
RB Atiyyah Henderson has avg over 4.0 YPC the last 2 years ...also had 36 catches LY
 
WR Vincent Brown led the aztecs with 64-631  5 TD's LY..
 
WR Roberto Wallace has some good size at 6-4 ..

Blitzing 2+ players on most downs
Remember Long's defenses at NM never allowed more than 3.7 YPC in 11 years ...
 
DE BJ Williams is back 2nd tm MWC ...74 Tackles 10.5 of them for a loss
DE Jonathan Soto and 300LB DT Ernie Lawson also return
 
SR LB's Luke Laolagi (99 Tackles) and JR Andrew Preston (82) tackles both return  ..
 
The Secondary is very green but the numbers can only get better after 67.0% , 65.9% ...257,213....

Tim Hiller is the best QB in the MAC IMO .. Great stats LY with 36 TD;s and 10 Ints..Hiller is 3019 Yards shy of being WMU all time leading Passer/// JR QB Drew Brudi provides the Broncos with excellent depth and can move the chains with his legs...
 
RB Brandon West had a very good season LY 1026 8 TD's and caught 38 Balls for another 3 TD's...Aaron Winchester and Monster 240+lbs RFR Jamie Simpson provide great depth///
 
Gone are 3 Excellent Playmakers at WR/TE Simmons had 104 Catches,Julien 59 and TE Ledbetter had 45....
 Other than Juan Nunez the WR's are very green ... While Hiller will make good with what he has to work with...
Clearly a concern
 
The O_line is loaded and has some good depth ...
Only gave up 14 Sacks LY 
 
The D-Line returns the best Pieces in DT Cody Cielenski and DE Justin Braska ...
 
LB Austin Pritchard was 1st team ALL MAC LY with 86 Tackles with 10.5 TKFL..Not much Depth at LB with most of the backups being FR or RFR
 
The Secondary
 lost 168 Career starts ... Miami Transfer Doug Wiggins might slow the Bleeding but It might be a Long year vs the Pass for the Broncos ///
 
WMU Looks to be a Overrated this year ..
the Defense lost a ton and so did WR's ////
 
The Broncos have had only 1 Winning season ATS in the last 8 years
 
While WMU might win 7+ S/UP they should make for a good fade and Over play this year

The Tigers have some explosive players on Both sides of the ball...
 
SR. QB Arkelon Hall needs to stay healthy , the Numbers should go way up from 12 TD's -7 Ints 2275 Passing with another 200 on the ground with 3 TD's
 
RB Curtis Steele ran for 1223 (5.6) 7 TD's 2nd team CUSA... Wisconsin Transfer Lance Smith and SR. TJ Pitts provide quality depth...in the Last 5 yrs Tigers RB;s have only lost 7 Fumbles
 
WR Carlos Singleton is a playmaker and is another player who should have a breakout year after 52-791 5 TD;s ... Duke Calhoun, Miami Transfer Jermaine McKenzie , and Ole Miss Transfer Rod Davis give the Tigers a excellent group of WR's  
 
O-Line Tommy West is known for working Miracles out of scraps...While they only return 28 Career starts the Tigers have been in this spot before and have only given up 16-14-14-9-5-12 Sacks the last 6 years..
 
The D-Line was hit hard by injuries LY and should be better off this year although only 1 real starter returns
 
 
LB's All 3 LB's return and they get LSU transfer PS#21 Derrick Odom...
 
The secondary looks alot better this season with 3 of 4 back and Auburn Transfer DeRon Furr was the Spring DEF MVP...
 
The Schedule is very Tough.. Out of Conference at Tennessee and the usual Mississippi.. From the CUSA west they draw the top 3 facing Utep, at Houston and at Tulsa ...
4 of the final 6 games are on the road
 
On Paper Tommy West looks to have one of his best teams and gets a great influx of talented Big time Transfers...

CUSA East is very tough this year.  Not sure about UCF, but if they can find a little offense, all 6 teams will be tough to beat.

Double, I'm curious to know what variables do you use to create your power rankings?  For example, SOS,pts scored per game, pts allowed per game, etc.

I think Temple will win 8 games this year, and play for the MAC East title in Athens on the last Saturday of the year.  They could also go 3-9.

My Point Spread Ratings are formated just for Gambling purposes

Based on head to head matchups between any 2 of the 120 schools....

I hate AP/ and the Coaches poll style Rankings they are just for Fan boys  ... the idiot who votes here in Buffalo admits he watches less than 1 football game a week
