Hey Boom, always look forward to studing your picks for the weekend.  Solid effort and great insight.  Curious to your opinion on the Houston/SMU game Thursday night.  Houston opened as a 1 pt favorite, the line has been bet to -6 for a rd team who is average at best on the road.  The are no key injuries to SMU yet Houston is missing a couple of WR's.  Houston's strength is the passing game.  I think these two teams are very evenly matched and tend to lean towards a home dog in these situations.  Any thoughts on the game? 

Boom, you referred to C Mich's lackluster performance versus Navy last week. Could that have been attributed to concentration on conference play, therefore making them worthy of consideration this week versus Ball State?

Cbowells - I think S.C and Florida is literally a toss up. Although Florida has won some games, lets really evaluate Florida here...How good are they? know one really knows. They dont score much, the defense has been good, but how good really? A&M was playing there first game..and thats the only offense that they have played.

I will tell you this.... any one person that says they have a good read on Houston or SMU is a damn liar. Both these teams are really hard to read... IMO. Dont play the game

come on Wheels.... lets be a little objective here. In that LSU game you had 237 yds and LSU had 201... let's not act like it was domination. LSU Dominated the gamecocks 406 to 211... and the score was really never a indication on just how well LSU physically beat them up

Im not sure who will win saturday, but I will say these 2 things.

1) If this game is played in the swamp, it's a toss up. If it's played at S.C...you get drilled so what does that tell ya?

2) I would be very surprised if you scored more then 17 points@HOME and gained more then 225 yds...

I evaluate what I see guys. I dont go by who played who etc although I respect your opinions for sure. South Carolina will not be intimidated and their front 7 will shut doen Florida. The difference between LSU in my "opinion' is they will move the ball and outscore Florida. I see a 23-17 type of game but everyone is right until they play the game we will see on the field. I'm comfortable sticking with South Carolina

I strongly disagree with your Texas Tech observation. It is diarrhea of the mouth. Things we learned from that game.

1.) Tech is better than it appeared the week before against OU
2.) OU was, for some reason, unable to wake up until a bye week and a visit to Lubbock
3.) Texas is the Big 12's most overrated team

I think BYU is gonna have to go in my ML parlay. At +450 or better I like my chances that ND stumbles considering they have a game @ OU next saturday......

Boom. Thoughts on your tigers. If it keeps dropping to around -7 u think that would be a decent play? I like my gamecocks again this week at +3. I believe we have too much to lose to go in there and lay an egg. I believe last Saturday was a wake up call for them. But goin back to Clemson. I think y'all can take Vagina Tech by at least 10.
