Most overrated team in the country?

I realize that Florida may be the best team in the country right now, but I also wonder how the entire nation just discounts the home loss to Miss. Should a team that lost at home to a 5-4 team be ranked higher than a team (Texas) that lost to the #2 ranked team in the country on the road? Or higher than a team (Oklahoma) that lost to a top 5 team on a neutral site?

Utah, LSU , Georgia,  then Alabama after Florida destroys them!!!!!!!!!  

 

 

           

Keep in mind this thread was started by the biggest Big 10 pimp outside of that guy who starts the "Ohio State is the best team ever" threads.  More joke than picking on my part. 

 

Boise State and Utah are quality teams.  Would they be in the top 10 going through the SEC or Big 12? No.  Could they beat just about any team in a single game on a neutral field? Yes. 

 

They're very well coached, they have players that stay 4 and 5 years, and the  MWC probably deserves a BCS bid more than the ACC or the Big East.

All you clowns who say that the SEC is overrated, let me just say this:  The SEC is a little down by SEC standards.  It still has the best defenses in the country, no doubt.  The only thing that is really sub-par this year in the SEC is the quarterbacks.  Still the best athletes, top to bottom, in the nation.  The Big 12 has 4 or 5 good teams this year, but none of these other conferences could go toe to toe with the SEC and live to tell about it -- even in an off year.

 

 

All of you people bashing the SEC are just jealous that your team is not worthy to play in the SEC.  Any of the top tier teams (Alabama, Florida, Georgia, even LSU) would be in the top 2 or 3 of any conference in the nation.  The Big 12 has overrated offense because they are playing weak defenses every week.  The Pac10 is a JOKE.  The Mountain West is a tougher conference than the Pac 10.  The Big 10 cannot compete with the SEC, that has already been proven.  Hell, the SEC won the national championship last year with 2 losses.  I would like to see another conference do that,  The SEC has beaten the ACC, the Big 12, and the Big 10 in national championship games and the trend will continue this year.  I cannot wait to see all of the Big 12 homers after Florida OR Alabama dominates in another SEC rout in the national championship game. 

 

As for the most overrated team; Ball State without a doubt.  Have they even played anyone in the top 50?  That would be just as big of an embarrasment as Hawaii was last year.  These weak teams should not even be considered, I don't care if they won 100 games in a row.  Boise State and Utah could both hold their own in the Pac 10, ACC, Big East, or Big 10.  They would get destroyed in the SEC, or the BIg 12. 

Whichever two teams STEAL BCS slots due to their tie-ins with horrendous conferences (ACC & Big East)!!!  Shame on the BCS for taking those conference winners.

There goes lobos (the expert again).  I guess 2 straight national championships don't account for anything?  USC was also ranked number 1 and lost, Clemson was a top 10 team and they suck, West Virginia was a top 10 team, how about Kansas, and Missouri.  Hell Oklahoma will go to a BCS game and get blown out again.  SEC wins when it counts bro, check your shit.  Tennessee, LSU (2), and Florida have all won BCS championship games.  No other conference can tout that.  I have proof, where is yours?  Don't get mad because we beat that ass baby!!
