Estimating age based on years from High School graduation. This is the closest method to gathering team age since player date of birth is private for most. I understand that age of player is not perfectly tied to date of high school graduation, however this proves that these teams are roughly the same age.
Edit: To be clear I'm not calling Miami old, but rather trying to explain that their ages are similar which debunks the current narrative that Indiana is a uniquely old team beating up on kids.
