Lots of SNOW for Ohio State-Texas?

Hard to believe... Cotton Bowl in Dallas.. Friday

Says 3-6 inches of snow.... We get snow,where i live. That is,a significant amount.. NOT Syracuse/Buffalo levels but still alot

Might change the game to another day

 Dome won’t matter, people won’t be able to get to the game.  This has a huge potential to be postponed in my opinion.. 6” of snow in Dallas? Stick a fork in that whole damn day dude.  Remember when Atlanta got 6 inches of snow? Snowmageddon… shit was wild.  If Dallas gets 6 inches, it will be a huge deal.

 I highly doubt it if Dallas truly gets 6” of snow.  Just my opinion.  Pretty rare for Dallas.

If Jim really does live in the DFW Metroplex, he knows that the Cotton Bowl is played at Jerry World...I think he was referring to attendance for the game, which is going to be radically impacted by this winter storm on Thursday and Friday.  Nosebleed tickets going for $500 per are down to $100...It would otherwise be packed, but,  predict that it will be less half filled.  And that lack of noice in a cavernous dome, may impact the energy in the game...

As a Canadian who just loves changes in weather including 5F outside right now (went for a walk for 40 min after the sun went down to experience that fresh air)....

Haha - expect a serious overreaction from the locals, but any weather is THURSDAY anyway.....

Weather should have close to zero effect here - maybe a few Buckeye fans get delayed.

Local weather should be high 30's - light snow a slight possibility - roads no big deal

 

 

* Horn fans might be rowdy here - they HATE OSU fans (got abused in Columbus a few years back)....

It’s not snow it will be ice that’s why Ohio state fans are cancelling. They don’t know how to handle what we call in Texas “black ice” they only get snow in Ohio and not ice

Literally OSU classes cancelled yesterday because of snow and ICE. Same old news reports saying be careful of the black ice when driving. lmao

I am 30 miles from the stadium in Arlington. We will see if it snows we usually get ice if anything. Probably nothing.

I was a kid at the playoff game between Dallas vs Falcons. Rodger got knocked out Danny came in and brought Dallas back for the win. One of the worst ice storms to ever hit texas started in the 4th quarter. Then the cottonbowl was played it was the chicken soup cotton bowl where Montana brought Notre Dame back vs Houston. Good times.
