I'am leaning NIU -3.5 explosive and the Ohio D tends to bend but what I see they bend was against less explosive Off. their 3rd down def.avg not that good agst good Offenses ,Turn overs also huge here Tettelton turns it over where as Harnish does not ,hope this is not the game.

defense wins championships...ohio has better defense and getting points...look at the stats, offenses is pretty similar...like ohio coaching edge..n. illini has played like shit to finish year against ball st and e. mich.

yes I see that but Iam guessing they were trying too establish the def. not that they got a good one. With Ohio there def.in the rankings show big advantage but gm by gm I see alittle differance, and I think they try to slow it down but It will end up being fast pace gm

Harnish is wanting to makeup for last years loss in the MAC championship.
The championship games tend to be lower scoring than reg season guys,not one game has gone over 66! Solich is also on record saying he does not want to play an up tempo game with NIU. Ohio has a half decent rush D at 124.0 a game (ranks 24th) Last year NIU came into this game having scored 65, 59 and 71. They lost 21-26 to Miami Ohio
IMO the safer play is to take the Senior Harnish( only 1 int. since the loss to C Michigan) over the Sophmore Tettleton who is a bit more reckless throwing.
Wait for the total to go up a few ticks and pop the under if you must.
