Northern Illinois vs. Ohio

 

I am leaning Northern Illinois -3

Leaning NIU -3 as well.  Harnish is solid and thier lines are too strong

I'd consider NIU if their defense wasn't so garbage.

MAC game will be outta control garbage. Ohio has been too arrogant judging by before/after game comments, and No Illinois brings it. They can flat out fuckin score in bunches.

Chandler Harnish is an NFL player..I will take NIU even with their horrific defense..

NIU is the play, they lost this game last year, i do not see that happening again. Theyre defense has played much better the last 4 weeks. They will be focused and I think they win by double digits.

It would only be fitting for the MAC championship game to go over... games been sailing over in that conference all season (the TV games at least)

I agree, N. Illinois should win.
I'm also going to bet the team total over, should be around 37.
I can see them scoring 45 to 52.

always upsets in the mac champ game. everyone on northern yet line went from 3.5 to 3.

I'm on NIU as well but your statement does not make much sense.  In the last 4 weeks the defense gave up 60 to Toledo and 38 to Ball State.  That's not good defense.  They did play good defense against BGren and EMich.

Harnish is wanting to makeup for last years loss in the MAC championship.

The championship games tend to be lower scoring than reg season guys,not one game has gone over 66!  Solich is also on record saying he does not want to play an up tempo game with NIU. Ohio has a half decent  rush D at 124.0 a  game (ranks 24th)

Last year NIU came into this game having scored 65, 59 and 71. They lost 21-26 to Miami Ohio

IMO the safer play is to take the Senior Harnish( only 1 int. since the loss to C Michigan) over the Sophmore Tettleton who is a bit more reckless throwing.

Wait for the total to go up a few ticks and pop the under if you must.

I like this...I also think that the play is under here...It always seems that teams score lower then usual when it's a big game...Nice post!!!
