Kicking that FG makes no sense

I swear Im getting moosed at a rate to make a man go insane.

No reason to kick that FG.

Every Fucking coach in the country goes for it on fourth down there and makes the opposing team drive the entire length of the field to score.

you dont kick the FG there.

WHY?????????

In case of a block kick and return for a score.

fg does make a two possession game.. they have the best kicker in the country.. but i understand your side too man.. vandy is a winner book em

it was the right call

the WRONG calls were made on 2nd and 3rd down.
just run up the middle...you'll get 2 yards EASY on NW.
yet they try fancy sweep and runs out wide.  pretty dumb

What do you expect them to do 4th down within fg range with 30 seconds left and a one score game?   Knee it so NW gets to try to tie the game?

NW had no TOs and would have to drive the length of the field and score 2 PT just to tie.  Not really necessary but God damn did it sting after being down by 3 TDs just to come back for that? Oh well

I was on Northwestern and you're wrong.

A&M has the best kicker in the country...when it's 4th and 6 you kick it there to make it a 2 possession game.

Now, if NU doesn't lose 4 yards on 3rd and 2 then we have a completely different discussion about going for it on 4th and short

LOL. Some of you guys are mentally challenged. Auto 31 yd FG makes it a two possession game. That was the right ( and only) call as much as it sucks for the moose

The field goal before the half was no good though; that was BS.

That's the equivalent of making the opposing team drive the entire length of the field and score.

If you're A&M would your rather risk N'Western's special teams unit to block your kick and run it back 80 yards or put Persa/Colter back on the field and let them run there offense for a potential score.

You have the best fucking kicker in America and can go up 11 in a blink of an eye.

Or you can go for it, not get it, and give N'Western's offense 4-5 plays to make something happen.


Justifying your losses is fine, if, and only if you know what the fuck you're talking about.

If he goes for it on 4th down and doesn't get it then NW still has a chance to tie the game on a TD and a 2 pt conversion.

 

Not sure why you would say the FG in that situation makes no sense other than you obviously had your money on NW.

they should should have been knelling the ball to end the game, but they passed the ball and went out of bounds 3x on the final drive.  So fucking dumb....

Lol why would you even give them a chance to go the entire field to tie the game when you can end it? It makes complete sense and only am idiot coach wouldn't kick that fg to seal it. 

If they didn't get that close to the end zone and got another first down they woulda kneed
