Look, some people are smart enough to see that a result is coming BEFORE the final whistle. Some, obviously, are not.

Scal, buddy, I hate seeing this. You are a great capper. In fact, until now, I've never seen you lose more than two posts in a row. Never. When I have a bad run like this I take a break and come back with an extremely well researched, can't miss pick (something I learned from you). You gotta go back to that. You and I are not volume handicappers (because solid handicapping takes time and patience). The fact that all the NY teams have been crap (and totally unpredictable) has made things tough for you this year (those are the teams you really know, but now, because of their enigmatic play, you don't know them). This happened to me last year with the Dubs (lost more on them than any team) and now look at them this year. They are a covering machine, but because I was burned so badly by them last year, I hardly go near them. Step back, go over all your NY plays, and you'll see that's where the problem lies. You need to find some other teams to focus on/follow/study.

The posters here will accept losing 25 out of 100 (maybe better).

That is why I have to question the higher eduction or even literacy rate of the posters that keep regurgitating the same garbled crap about losing a game. It's quite hilarious. And this time I just passed it along (and still took responsibility for it record-wise) and they still are repeating themselves like lemmings.

They repeat the same things over and over. Win? You're god. Lose? Get lost!

They talk like I'm 6-600 when I'm 6-6 in CFB this year (and LC made this Mizzou pick on his own...will they give him grief even though no more than a half a paragraph of explanation was written? No.! My thread? Full and detailed conversation! That is, until it doesn't hit. Or, "I don't like your thread title!!!" )

Let me also add. The Niners this year, are starting to look like the Dubs last year. Playing for a lame-duck coach is one of the toughest things in sports (for good and bad teams). The Niners have been scraping by (and getting me wins) by the skin of their teeth (all because of Harbaugh's will). Last week they did not respond (or show up); which is a really bad sign (for those betting on this team). I'll give them one more chance with the Raiders (teasing the Niners) but if they lose, they will become the same enigma as the Jets, Giants, Knicks, Nets and last year's Dubs. Gotta stay away from team's like that.

No real problems here BB. I'm just not hitting 65% like last year.

Records:

CFB - 6-6 (just juice)

NFL - 5-7 (2 units + just juice)

NBA - 5-7 (2 units + just juice)

Never lied about then. Never will. And this wasn't even my pick. Passed it along and anyone who thinks I contrived and alter ego is a fool.

That 4 units and juice overall. That's bad? And that includes the Denver pick 6 and the greatest broken slot machine win I've experienced on covers: a 21 point comeback from the worst team in the NFL. But a loss is a loss as guys here somehow want you to admit (even though a deeper analysis of a pick shows a win is a rabbit's foot on fire).

And I don't post units. It's fine for those who do but I feel WL's are the most revealing. I can't go to bigger units to get out of a hole (I don't care what others do. It's what I do. It's more forthright for ME.)

But your point overall about NY teams and their enigmatic play is sound and yes, has cost me money obviously.
