what scares me here is that the majority here likes USC big. I don't like that. However, my local has it at -10.5. Doesnt that scream for OSU backers?  I think its a trap for OSU backers. I'll be staying away from this one and enjoy it from the 19th row. My $1500 for 2 tix is enough money spent.

Once the Ohio State folks get their monthly welfare checks for the month, they'll start pounding the Buckeyes. It may seem like everyone is on USC now, but not come game day.

I was at the OU game and Ohio State completely slept walked through it.  Beanie is fine and was jumping up and down on the sidelines with no boot.  It is already out of Columbus that he is playing.  This line is WAY too high....judging the Buckeyes on a one game performance against an OU team that was pretty much playing in their national championship game for the year.  Solich is a good coach and had his players ready to play...not to mention OU's offense only scored once....
 
Boeckman did not play well and missed Robiskie and Hartline many times wide open down field.  And this is the biggest reason.  Ohio State showed USC NOTHING.  Pryor played very little and just ran right up the middle when he did.  Freshman Devier Posey played very little.  They showed no blitz packages AT ALL... no blitzes all game.  The reason this game was close is Ohio State played nothing but Vanilla the entire game on offense and defense.
 
Ohio State will be a completely different team next week classic example of looking ahead.  USC's domination over  Virginia is also blown out of proportion....Virginia struggled with Richmond last weekend
 
Give me the Buckeyes ALL NIGHT with +anything over 10 and Im sure smart money will be on them as well.  I will also have a play on the ML when it drops.

I agree that the Bux slept walked through the OU game, but that tells me they think they are better than they really are.  I'd love to see OSU give USC all they can handle, but Boeckman has been under performing since the last 4 games of LAST season.  I'd like to say that Prior is going to come in and give us a different look at QB the way that Tebow did a few years ago, but with the OU game being so close, Tressel didn't get to play him so I don't expect much from him in the Coliseum.
 
Our offense (even with Beanie) is lack luster and our D is only going to be able to hold the Trojans for so long.  I hate to do it, but this ain't about the heart it's about the wallet.  I'd take USC -10 all day long...

  I respect your honest opinion. I don't think osu played anywhere near their best vs UO. But what I saw was a team that couldn't line up & dominate an inferior team, which, if you want to be considered a top 5 team, you should be able to do...........especially considering the pronounced difference in available talent. OSU should've been able to play vanilla ball & still control the game handily.............that didn't happen. If tohio st fans/backers/bettors think that can be fixed in 6-7 days then I wish them well with their $$.
  I'm sure the tohio st fans will point to the Stanford loss LY...........fine. If that makes you feel that USC is vunerable bet your hearts out on tohio st.

This is a very interesting line.  The goal here was to get more money on Ohio State because the world would be on USC -5.   Putting it to 10.5 will help get money on Ohio State.  However I think whatever the number was the Buckeye backers would bet on Ohio State.  For them getting 10.5 is a gift because I myself would bet on Ohio State at +5.  This does scream for Ohio State backers and the is a very big concern of mine.  I Think if Vegas thought this was a "trap" game and was on the Bucks they would put the line at USC -4.5-5. 

Hopefully the country was wowed enough by the Trojans week 1 and uninspired by the Bucks week 1-2 (and Beanie).  I'll take the points and the ML and let my boys from Columbus go into California and come away with a win.  There isn't another coach in the country I would rather have on my side.

Have to love the Trojans here.  OSU may have looked ahead, but USC and Carroll will be "pumped and jacked" liek you have never seen.  USC rolls by at least 17.

I love USC at home in this one, they are the superior team in this one.

there is no such thing as a sure thing in gambling.  but this may be as close to a sure thing as you're going to get.  USC is the best team in country perhaps, i would say ohio st. is somewhere between 15-25 imo.  i am no genius, but homefield advantage is 3 points, so that means the books are giving USC -6/7.  i believe USC is alot better than 6/7 points compared to OSU.  unreal this line is so low, thats why it makes me think.  if this is a trap game then so be it, because i am all over this line right here.  USC -9/10 is deff the play here...

i dont know whats so funny.........i think hes done a fine job........3 natl champ games......most outright big ten titles str8[unshared].....keep laughing and he'll just keep on winning.....we gotta win one of these natl champ games eventually.........if we win the next one we get to he is 2-2.......too lazy to look up our record in BCS bowl games...

i dont like our chances this week and im a diehard fan for sure..Beanie being less than 100% hurts us no doubt and for those who say it doesnt matter you're dumb he's one of the top 5 backs in the country.Todd cant throw a good deep ball...if he chucks it deep its a jumpball everytime.he has looked better this year but we have played cupcakes so this week will tell the tale

I'm just glad Beanie Wells will be playing, and he should be close to 100%.   Cause I don't wanna hear the Luckeye excuse train crying that they 1got beat without there best player.   Wells will rush for less than 60 yards and USC wins by 17 points.

USC at home, should cover 2 scores.  Wanted to see -5.5 or so........... they're tempting people to take OSU--dont fall into the trap.

Lol. If it's the same defense that Ohio State had on the field last Saturday vs Ohio, I think Sanchez will be just fine.

The bigger question is how OSU will handle USC's overall team speed.  As we have seen in the past from the Buckeyes vs Florida & LSU, they will most likely have a tough time on both sides of the ball. They will get tired and frustrated and USC will begin to roll up the points. Good luck though.

Ohio State starts a 6th year QB....not a Frosh... Pryor will only get 10-15 snaps to change things up

I really dont understand what all the talk is about Florida and LSU.  They were both VERY good football teams that Ohio State lost to.  We were not ready for Florida's speed...no....but neither was any one else in the country.  They did only have 1 loss.  And Ohio State did not belong in the NC last year...but nobody seemed to want it either. 
 
This is really the year everyone was pointing to OSU... not last year.  So you can not judge the Buckeyes on last years NC game.  And... what no one realizes is Ohio State is actually a lot faster than USC this year.  You can not forget that Ohio State showed absolutely nothing in the game against OU.  They did not blitz AT ALL....Pryor and Posey barely played... and while sleepwalking through the 1st half they still only gave up 1 touchdown the entire game to a team that was playing in "their national championship game"
 
Way too many people are judging the Buckeyes on past experience.... and if you try to do that then you have to say Ohio State has more talent, speed, and size than the Stanford team that beat USC dont you?  Just concentrate on this year....and by the way the USC team that blew out Virginia....yeah that same Virginia team struggled with Richmond last week...again judging Virginia by last year not this year.
 
Buckeyes PLUS anything over 10 is the right bet here....they have been waiting for this game (not the OU game) since last year to prove everyone wrong.

Beanie Wells could be 200% and it still won't matter folks.  Look, I know all about being for your team, and I would expect nothing less from OSU fans - - it is an exciting matchup and a chance for them to prove the world wrong.  Win, and they can make a run for the national title.  However, OSU had the world doesn't think we can win mentality against Florida and LSU the last two years, and it did not matter. 

While there are upsets, of course, this won't be one of them.  USC should win by double digits.  They are that much better.  If Sanchez and McKnight get hurt, then OSU has a shot.  Otherwise, USC should win comfortably.
