If Oklahoma St. beats Oklahoma, they deserve a shot @ LSU over Alabama

Question

Alabama already had their chance and they lost to LSU on their homefield.  Oklahoma St.&#x27;s lone loss was a day after the tragedy, so their heads weren&#x27;t all there.  What a matchup that would be, Oklahoma St.&#x27;s explosive offense against LSU&#x27;s nasty defense.

I dont know if they can,but if Okie St would lay a beatdown on OU,then I agree they should get a shot. The human side of the polls might consider the tragedy at Stillwater having some effect. Hard to say how the polls will come out. Taking nothing away from a great LSU team,but to bad Geo couldnt beat them bad just to shake up the B.S. system that is in place now.  A playoff is needed,but then what would we have to talk about.

I tend to agree. Both teams going into the Alabama/LSU had two weeks to prepare as if it was an elimination game. Big if but if Oklahoma St. beat Oklahoma, I am hoping some other voters see it that way.

I thought it was the best game I have seen all season. That game was a WAR on both sides of the ball, and that is why it was a low scoring affair, a chess match if you will. That game proved that Bama is the only team in the Nation that is capable of hanging with LSU. Ok st is a fucking joke, with NO defense what so ever. They would do better in a game against LSU, to just not put the defense on the field. As I said this team is nothing when compared to the likes of Bama, and LSU. These are the two best teams in the nation, and they deserve another real test against each other.

Okie St (the #2 team in the BCS system... a system which FACTORS IN bad losses)... deserves a shot over Alabama, who has already lost to LSU...

as much as losing to Iowa St was a bad loss... that shit happens in CFB... Oklahoma St has played a tougher schedule than Alabama, in my opinion... Bama really doesn't have a lot of high quality wins to hang their hat on... in terms of the entire resume (if OSU beats OU)... you can't TRULY sit there and act like it is ABSURD to have OSU play LSU in the NC game...

it's one thing for the blind SEC clowns to say it's ridiculous, but i know you are sharp enough to see the logic here...

personally, i see both sides of it... Bama will probably give LSU a better game, but OSU has a legit argument in thinking they deserve their chance at LSU... and if you think about it... LSU has beaten Bama and Oregon, almost certainly the 2nd and 3rd best team in CFB... let them make it a clean sweep against the next best opponent out there... and i think it is fair to say, that team is OSU, based on what they did this year...
