Why do people like chizik over spurrier?
If auburn didnt pay big money to get Mr Newton then they would be a 500 team at best in SEC. Dont auburn fans remember crying when seeing this?
Auburn got rid of Tommy Tuberville, a coach who won 85 games in 10 seasons and once beat rival Alabama six consecutive times.
***The Tigers hired Gene Chizik, a coach who went 5-19 in his two seasons as head coach at Iowa State, and ended the 2008 season with a 10-game losing streak.
Im not making a play on this game i LOVEEEEE vtech, but i just cant see how any1 can think spurrier wont out coach Chizik. I like auburn winning a close one

Thank you sir. SEC east blows and SC only beat 3 teams with winning records, one coming from the C-USA, one being Florida.
Auburn beat 5 RANKED teams.
Sorry, but this ain't happening for SC

I see your point and agree that Auburn has outperformed SC this year, but your info is misleading and wrong. SC can only play the teams on their schedule. By the way, Aubrn has played twice as many teams with losing records as SC has this year. This may be misleading, but at least it is true.
The bottom line is that the East is down this year, but SC is the best team in the East and they are a good team and they can compete with Auburn. They have won all of their games by at least 11 points and lead in the 4th quarter of two of the games they have lost this year and both of those games went down to the last play. The only game they were really outplayed this year was against Arkansas because the weakness of this SC team is it's pass defence and Arkansas has a very strong passing game with Mallett. Auburn may be the better team, but this is not the mismach that many think it is.
