i think south carolina is one of the best and most underrated teams in the country but how do you stop cam newton?  auburn played great defense in the second half.  if they play decent defense, i&#x27;m not sure i&#x27;d want to have any money against them in any game.

well, I&#x27;d certainly consider a 1st H wager onn S. Carolina, given Auburn&#x27;s tendency to play from behind nearly every SEC game. Don&#x27;t know about the W. I think So Car can throw on this Auburn defense--looks porous in the secondary--but they make adjustments.

correct me if i&#x27;m wrong... didn&#x27;t you recommend betting against Boise against Nevada?  i know for sure you recommended betting against them in a possible NC game...no team in CFB has proven themselves as a bettors friend more than Boise over the past 5 years, and even just this year alone they are the ATS champions to this point...guess it is a case by case basis...

I&#x27;ve taken Boise 1st half and game tonight and expect them to dominate. As a bettor, Boise state is a dream come true. They cover games and 1st halfs consistently and comfortably. But you are correct that I recommended betting on a top SEC team against Boise in the NC if that happens.

i agree with all of that.  i think south carolina is a great team.  but i&#x27;m still not sure they have enough to beat newton, especially if auburn plays defense like they did in the second half today.  it should be a great game.  i doubt it&#x27;ll be 7.  if it is, i&#x27;ll take a long look at taking the points.

This does set up very nicely for Carolina after an emotional comeback on the road in a rivalry game that appears to lock up a spot in the national championship. All Auburn needs is to bounce back and beat a 5-3 (SEC) team it's already beaten once this year. By eight. This write-up is depressing, because it's the same one I could've written before the 2001 SECCG. The Vols had just beaten #2 Florida on the road 34-32 and only had to beat LSU (who they'd downed 26-18 in Knoxville and who was only 5-3 in the SEC). Bad memories.

Anyways, it's a tough spot to be betting Auburn unless the line is very short. At 7 or more, I'm looking at Carolina. Either way, I'm looking at a first half play on Carolina.

Have a difficult time believing this line will be more than 4 or 5.

Neutral field, and it is so difficult to play and beat the same opponent twice in the same season.

If people are counting on an Auburn emotional letdown in this game, you are making a huge mistake. Atlanta is a 1.5 hour drive from Auburn-the georgia dome will be packed with Auburn fans.

South Carolina also has an instate rivalry game to play themselves tomorrow against Clemson. It may not mean anything in regards to SEC standings, but if you think they don't care about beating Clemson you are crazy.

Spurrier will choke away that game.  South Carolina is a product of a terrible SEC East.  If they were in the West, they wouldn&#x27;t sniff this game.  They might not even make a bowl!
