It may have been a "lucky" play, but Tech was in FG range , and I believe they had a timeout. So even if Crabtree is tackled at the 3 yard line, they get a FG to win anyways. Tech did dominate most of this game, which is bizarre considering the way they got destroyed at OK. If anyone was lucky, it was Texas beating OK. They caught some breaks in that game, and caught OK playing their worst game.

mtp ohio st is going to get clowned again. They need a new rule for the big ten. This conference is so bad teams should be eliminated from bowl contention with one loss. Have you seen Penn St. schedule next year. Try to read it outloud without laughing.

The Best the Big Ten has is Penn State. They beat Ohio State and that is why they are representing the Big Ten in the BCS. Ohio State was selected by the Fiesta Bowl to play Texas. The Fiesta Bowl is only obligated to select a Big 12 team, the other team can be anybody.
Did you watch USC against Ohio State? It is safe to say, USC was the undisputed number one team in the country after that game. They played flawless on both sides of the ball. And the supposed "horrible" Ohio State offense has put up over 40 points in 3 of its last 5 games. A similar Ohio State defensive roster played at Texas in 2006 against Colt McCoy and won.

Ok lets look at OSU great schedule and I think everyone would agree OSU didnt deserve to be in a BCS bowl the only reason they were is because they travel well. Looks to me like Ohio State put up 40+ against Michigan State and Northwestern when they were ranked, and they are both in bowl games. Mich St and NW were coming in to the game off good performances, and Ohio State had to play both on the road. Michigan does suck this year, but mostly their offense. Mich Defense was still decent, and I was surprised Ohio State put up 42 against them.
Texas has two freshman DBs. How did this sweet secondary do against Texas Tech with the game on the line? Oh......
I agree Texas should be in the championship game. They aren't and I think they will have a letdown. The game should be close regardless. Instead of comparing arbitrary games as if connecting the dots will guarantee you an outcome. Why don't you look at the last time they played each other. Some of the players are the same and it will give you an indication how those players will fare when these two teams meet.
