Colt may be up to the challenge. I just don't think he has enough help around him. i.e. a capable offensive line or other weapons besides Shipley. But Colt will play much better for sure!

I don't believe Gators played their best game against Bama. Meyer was sitting on top of the world cause he thought he knew how to beat Saban from the previous season. I would say Meyer overlooked and didn't gameplan the game to a T. Saban didn't show his wildcard McElroy all yr til he unleashed the guy against the Gators. Meyer didn't expect the kid could throw and had no gameplan for him and by the time he made the adjustment, it was too late.

I believe Mack Brown will beat Bama cause Saban have shown all his cards and they had to,,,,to beat the Gators. Mack's going to get his players ready, they have all the tools...don't you worry about that.

j/k...I think it's disrespectful to McCoy and Ingram that you somehow squeeze those 2 names between the mccoY and ingraM.

Listen bud, I don't think there is anything I can say to make you see the UT angles. The mighty Bama got you stuck between a rock and a hard place.

I know what Bama is capable of, they have shown me what they can do the L2 yrs and to make a final statement, they made Tebow cried......but I don't think there is any way possible can I convince you what UT is capable of. I pointed it out time and time again in this thread and yet all my infor. is invalid to "most" of you guys.

The mighty Bama has power/speed,,,,my argument is,,,,UT have the same power/speed. Yup.....there I go again, I am talking out of my a$$.Ya see??? It doesn't matter what my argument is,,I am wrong.

How many UT BCS bowls have you cashed? My point is, if you played every UT BCS bowls, you will be 100% correct.

Here's is another opportunity for you to make the right decision again........so is it UT or Bama?

Take your pick..........go ahead and prove history wrong again.

I am either taking Bama or nothing... Have not made a decision at this point... And I am not saying you are wrong, I was pointing out that once you stop McCoy you stop their offense because UT has no running game, not saying it is easy or that Bama will stop McCoy but that is the person they have to stop... With Bama you have to stop Ingram, Richardson, and McElroy...Thats all I was saying, not that you was wrong...

And Texas hasn't showed everything they have?? That offense you seen in the SEC Champ game was the same offense Bama has ran all year with the exeption of when they came out in the spread the 1st play of the game....There was nothing special in that game that Bama did on the offensive side of the ball...

Choi you are right on about Bama exposing so much to beat FLA and
maybe thats why, posssibly, TEXAS held back in NEB game. Very valid point!  It sure seemed like  Mack wasn't goin full throttle in that game, but he was very concerned about 5 min in. I just don't think he's that smart of a coach to do that but GREAT possible observation.
Definitely something to think about plus their record against Bama is astonishing and hard to go "against" trend. Are you trying to sway me to the DARK SIDE of the FORCE?

Line will more than likely bid up to -7 or so by game time,,,,similar to the Gators vs. OU last NC......the line closed on last year's bcs game at 4.5.  that is far from 7

Look, if Meyer give McElroy an ounce of respect, he would not continue to stack the box. Meyer had the same gameplan from the previous yr. and that was to stop Ingram ONLY.

We already agree that UT has no chance against Bama ok? What I am trying to point out is, once the opposing Coach sees the other team gameplan, he can draw up his own gameplan to exploit the other teams weaknesses. The leveling field is now EVEN. There's is no edge to UT or Bama...it's EVEN.

EVERY TEAM have some weaknesses......and the mighty BAMA have some too, so does UT. But like I stated, the levling field is even now. It's going to come down to Mack Brown  & Saban and how quickly they adjust their gameplan against each other and of course the players would have to execute.

Common man, you act like the underdog has never won a big game before. Tell me it's IMPOSSIBLE for the underdog to win a big game SU and I'll stop posting in this thread. You can't because dogs have won outright before.

Tell me his kicker didn't feel fucking great when Mack gave him the opportunity to kick that monster, long fucking fg? I am telling you,,that tells you right there how much confident Mack has in his guys. Saban will be cussing his players out like he did in the 2 losses last yr man...UT guys are as relax as can be in this NC game.

What do you think Texas's defensive gameplan will be? Load up the box and play man like UF did or give Bama the run game  and stop the pass?? For your underdog quesiton no the underdog never has a chance, favs always win, don't you know that??

LOL......believe it or not,,,Mack Brown got a wildcard too...how many RB that came out of UT in the past landed in the NFL? Lets go back 5yrs...anyone?

Since McCoy is in his final yr, Mack Brown allowed him to pass/run to try and win the Heisman,,,because of all the great backs that came out of UT and landed in the NFL.your telling me UT have no good quality back this yr? or maybe he's been under the radar,,,young fresh stallon..waiting for the gate to open in the NC game???? waiting for Mack to unleash and let him run wild on Bama's defense?

You are killing me.. Like Brown wanted it to come down to a last second FG.. He had to rely on his FG kicker to win it because there was no way they was putting it in the endzone at the end of that game...

Being the underdog, losing the HEISMAN, poor BIG 12 bowl showings, and BAMA backers with their "rebel yell" at full throttle could possibly equal an "Upset Special" like CJACK says the "sharps" are all over on. It's goin to be a GREAT bowl season to enjoy with TX/BAMA  crowning it off. I hear "my father" calling me. Luke,Luke come with me. Feel the power! Take it and grasp them pts.

So let me get this straight.. UT does have a running game but Brown has not let him run wild saving him for the NC?? You are right I don't beleive you and trust me there will be no RB running wild on Bama.. You can take that to the bank... There has not been a 100 yard rusher to rush against Bama in 34 straight games..

Mack Brown's coaching in NEB game was pitiful. I'm just saying the gameplan may have been very vanilla(which it was) compared to their other games. They knew and expected to win that contest which they did with one second no less. But the point is TX will be MUCH better prepared and more IMPORTANTLY, motivated but will that be enough
to overtake the JEDI side of the force. Obi-Wan, come in Obi-Wan.I'm confused.  ROLL TIDE is on the horizon.

I will agree they will be more prepared but the offense was not vanilla, they just could not get it done.....

Could not get it done? Than how did they get into the NC game? Maybe UT didn't get it done the way the NATION want to see them get it done. They didn't blow every team out like they are suppose to....what's the reason behind blowing teams out by 30pts every game? A win is a win!! What's important is they "did" get it done and now they are in the NC game.

If UT was blowing every team out by 30pts every game all the way up to the NC game,,,than most of you wouldn't be sitting here telling me what a piss poor coach team UT is. Your decision in picking the NC game winner would be "more difficult" than what it is right now. Instead, it's a no-brainer for most of you base on this matchup and what the current spread is. Lol,,most of you will never learn.

Not disrespecting anyone here,,but how can some of you not see that???????? It's not written in stone but you got to open your eyes a little wider?? haha.

    LOL...I am done.

Same could be said about you buddy.... Also when I said could not get it done I am meaning in the fashion of how they wanted the game to go... The person I quoted said they played a vanilla offense on purpose because they knew they would win.. I said that is BS, they played the same way they did all year, and that is what I mean by did not get it done..

Bama will roll Texas.  Bama has a better player at almost every position.  Six all americans.  Colt will spend most of the day running for his life.  Bama will pick of 2 or three passes.  On offense Bama uses a UFC ground and pound style.  By the 4th qtr Texas will be raising a white flag.

Get ready fellas.......the books are loading up the bandwagon for Bama backers in this one.

Line will more than likely bid up to -7 or so by game time,,,,similar to the Gators vs. OU last NC.

UT is the "correct" play here...to all UT backers, of course you will wait til game day to roll your bankroll into UT cause they are going to shut down Bama's running game.
