I placed a bet for a 5 teams 6’ teaser and only waiting on Indians -2 for tomorrow night $2K to win $11K. Should I bet on Miami +8’ for half ? If Indiana win from 3-8 points, I’ll win both bets. If Miami win straight up then I have a safety net. Advice from all the gambling Gurus please!

 I'd hedge it to cover your initial , plus 1k for a small cha ching in your pocket.

Just take the +8.5 go for middle.  

Definitely put enough to cover your original wager on Miami + points (would buy up to atleast 9, or 10.5 if cheap enough).....

The middle window makes it a no brainer and isn't a true hedge since you can scoop the whole pot.

If your win is 11k not counting the 2k original than bet enough money to cover your 2k investment and additional money to make a guarantee that you will be happy with. As others have said you could win both bets. This is not the price is right game show. I like free money not risking 13k start + win on 1 outcome. Best of luck in the choice you make.

 Also do not be betting half the game. You could lose both bets if you did that. If you hedge and your -2 is full game then the only option is hedging full game. If your -2 is 1st half only then you would hedge only on the 1st half. 

Ur initial plan…go with it, in sports betting, its good to tie, awesome to win nowadays…i would put up 4.5k on mia…
