Freak Pics!!! (Week 4)
hey jimmy can you explain Washington State -20?
I think game offers us the perfect convergence of two powerful betting angles. The first is to fade a brutal Colorado team regardless of who they play, and the second is Mike Leach's burning desire to run up the score on someone as high as he can. With this game being Leach's first conference game in Pullman, we can have confidence as bettors that Leach will do everything in his power to deliver the blowout victory that the home crowd has be itching to see. If Leach is up by 35 with a minute to go in the game, he'll be throwing the ball in attempt to win by 42.
Conversely, this will be Colorado's second consecutive road trip, with the previous one being a 69-14 blowout loss to Fresno State. The Buffaloes are a team in complete disarray at the moment. Second year head coach Jon Embree appears to be in completely over his head. Despite what Colorado coaches are saying, the Buffaloes don't appear to have a true starting QB. Jordan Webb began the season as the starter, but their QB carousel has included three different guys, with probably the best of the three (sophomore Nick Hirschman) receiving the least amount of playing time. Apparently Webb is still the starter, but most coaches don't give back up QBs "experience under fire" in the 1st quarter of ballgames. See Link.

In the end I think we see a Washington State rout that looks very similar to the Fresno rout of last week.

The Oregon State/UCLA line started out at close to 2 TDs. With the line now down to 7 I think UCLA is a much more viable play. The Beavers are also usually pretty brutal away from home. I lean Bruins.

Solid plays, worried for your teaser tomorrow though, I just think ULM gets rolled at home by the Bears. Hopefully ULM loses in a tight one, as I have Baylor at a pk.
I worry about it too. Art Briles is not shy about running the score up. Home dogs on weeknight games, however, are typically a pretty good bet. Hopefully that trend holds true tonight.

Jimmy,
If you were playing the O/U tonight of 75.5 which way would your numbers have you lean? Thanks!
I'm seeing a total number of 69.5. I think this is a high scoring game, but I don't think I could bring myself to bet OVER 75.5. I think I would take a stab at UNDER 38 (1st Half) if that's available to you.

GL this week Freak a nd really like the card. Ofcourse I am on LSU this week 1st time all year for a homer, and I am still going large on Arky. Wilson cleared and he is worth more than 2 points. Tailing you and others on Wash St.
Keep the momentum alive brother ![]()
I Like the Razorbacks a lot, but I'm going to lay off of them in favor of other games I like a little better. Solid bet though IMO.
Geaux LSU

WV/MARYLAND O/U now down to 60 - even better!
I see that. I can't understand what is driving the price down. It must be a service release on the under. I see no way this game stays under. West Virginia will get into the 50s by themselves, if not the 60s. This is a huge rivalry game so I don't see Dana Holgorsen pulling Geno Smith or letting off of the throttle.

Jimmy
I put down $100 for a chance at $450 on a 5 team 6 point teaser.
Baylor/ULM U75.5 = 38-34
Arkansas -1
UCLA -1.5
Washington St -14
LSU -14.5
Looks good to me. I agree with every play. I hope you hit!!!

The 1st half Alabama line came out at 32. I was hoping for a line south of 27. At 32 this is no play.

Hey Jimmy- for th Baylor/ULM game tonight do you think the under 35 first half is a good bet or is that cutting it too close?
I wouldn't play it, but I would lean very slightly to the under. I do so because ULM does not exactly have a quick-strike offense. They are primarily a short passing team with some runs mixed in to keep the defense honest. It is not beyond them to put together some time consuming 6-minute type of drives.

My tops plays this week are LSU -20.5 and Auburn Team Total UNDER 14 as described in Post #1.
Here are my basic two rules for teasers. Although I can't say I will never tease a favorite, I prefer, and almost always tease underdogs. Second, I only like to tease games that I think will be low-scoring. In low-scoring games, points are at a premium. In high-scoring games points hold a lot less value.
I believe the Baylor @ ULM game will be high scoring, so even though I do have a teaser on the game, I don't consider this game to be a prime candidate for teasing. I did so because I leaned all three underdogs in the weeknight games, and they all teased to very nice numbers (11, 14.5, 14.5). I also did it for the slightly higher payout 6:5.
That said, I like all 3 sides of the games you selected.
