After having Vandy PK last week against Temple & them getting beat 37-7 at home. I think they're fade material the rest of the year. They turned the ball over almost every possession, tried 3 QBs & all of them sucked, and looked flatter than a pancake in their first game w/ new coach. I mean an SEC team at home should handle Temple, right? Vandy started -16.5 vs them before moving down to -10. Blown out to 30 at home by Temple. That, my friends, is rock bottom. Don't put a dollar on that squad. Take the under in that game.

Yes. I was hoping for 24 on both the BYU/Texas and VT/tOSU games, but got 23 and 23.5 respectively.

As I explained earlier in this thread, I would consider both of the 1st half UNDERS in those games as "Best Bets" @ 24, and a 3 unit play @ 23 or 23.5. So I'm sticking to my guns that both are 3 unit plays at their current numbers. I would consider anything below 23 a no play, or a 1 unit play.

Just my 2 cents It will most likely be raining and 73Deg. for tomorrows game, this my favor the Hokie's with a lower scoring game?

I know some of you guys have been asking about Ole Miss/Vandy and I will give you my 2 cents on it. The Coach at Vandy said before the game against Temple that "the starting qb has a VERY long leash" and then he pulls him 3 series into the game when I believe it was still tied. Then, as the game went on, the coach looked absolutely lost and the whole sideline was a shitshow. I would guess that there is going to be a lot of second guessing going on with Vandy in almost every aspect of their game, but especially at qb after he pulled the starter last week.

Here in Nashville, things weren't pretty after the game and I really don't know how a first year coach is going to pull this team together after that debacle. Anyway. that is my 2 cents on it.

Would love to hear Jimmys thoughts on it as well.

Not Jimmy, but I def agree ^^^..... This coaching staff is an absolute joke, and I can see Ole Miss having 70% or more of the crowd at the Titans stadium, and beating them like a drum. Something like 37-7 lol

I can certainly see your logic in fading Tennessee this week- short week off big win and trip to Norman on deck, but be careful if anticipating an emotional letdown from the Vols. This is a very young team that is probably chomping at the bit to get back on the field in a game situation after having some success last week. Vandy was truly a mess last week. They have had some extra prep time and typically play Ole Miss close, but I don't see how in the hell they put points on the board against a damn good Rebel defense even if Seymour returns this week. Vandy has zero offensive weapons beside Seymour and Ole Miss has one of the top 5 defenses in the country in my opinion. Considering the Rebels' own offensive shortcomings, the under makes complete sense here.

Loving that Jag pick! It's been -3 around here all week, I've been eying it. Glad I got the Barn @ -30 midweek bc it's steadily on the rise.

And for what it's worth, I saw ol' Joey J. play in the Sr. Bowl back in '83 or '84...lol

Needed to add something about the Vandy/Ole Miss game. It will be played at LP field(where tje Titans play) and all that does is allow more Ole Miss fans in the stadium. While Vandy has never had much as far as fans go at their home games(most games they play at home are 75% visiting team and 25% vandy fans), it is still their home field. I would say that this is a road game for Vandy, even though it is in Nashville.

I checked Bookmaker today and nearly 92% of the wagers are going with South Alabama. Any cause for concern w/ that?

I tend to agree. I also agree with Sabanade on the crowd makeup. I will caution, however, that overreactions to week 1 college football results is the leading cause of death in America.

I avoided this game because I don't have much faith in how either team will preform this week. Despite winning and covering in week 1, Ole Miss was pretty much a sh it-show themselves.

Having said that, I will overreact to the week 1 results and lean Ole Miss in this game.

I like that OK, but I LOVE the Kent team total to go UNDER 24 or 24.5 (whatever the current line is). If you can get 24.5, "Max Bet" it.

Kent has zero playmakers on the offensive side of the ball. Their offense is a complete sh it-show, and USA has a pretty nasty defense. Although I'm not predicting a shutout, I think this game definitely has shutout potential. I don't think Kent has a prayer of scoring 20 points in this game.

My score prediction for this game is 31-13. It should not be close.

Not at all. I really don't pay attention to that. I'm guessing the fact that I have promoted them so hard this week on this site probably influenced those numbers quite a bit.
