you still consider south alabama a best bet at -3? and since it is ur favorite play, would u recommend i play it at like 7 units instead of 5?

The touts hammered that play this morning. I still like the play, but I definitely would not consider it a "Best Bet."

The first line I heard on this game in the summer was 13. I honestly thought this would come out more like 10. Nevertheless, I think it was released at 13 which is what I got it at, and then moved to 13.5 before falling to 12.
I can't explain the reasoning behind the line, but I'm not a line conspiracy theorist. I just play what they throw out there.

I like the OVER as well, but that ties in with my concern about laying 32.5. I wasn't impressed with Auburn's secondary. I think SJST can and will exploit it to a certain degree. In other words, I think SJST will definitely score some points in the this game. Another concern is that Gus smartly chooses not to leverage Marshall as a runner against weaker teams. Maybe he won't be quite as protective of Johnson when he comes in the game.
Nevertheless, hopefully Auburn will get into the 60s by themselves, and render all of our concerns nugatory.

I don't like the total in the USA/Kent game. With Kent's abysmal offense and complete lack of playmakers, I would definitely lean to the UNDER though.
I like for the SJST/Auburn game to go OVER the total.

Hit on Seattle & UTSA tonight. Put 510 on South Alabama to win 425 (bought the hook at 2.5) prob being a pu$$y...I bet this before I capped the game...after capping the game, love the pick even more. South Alabama opener, Kent State goes at Ohio State next week, South Alabama better QB & won 38-21 last year at home. Ohio fumbled the ball on 4 straight possessions to start second half & STILL beat Kent State and held them to 14 points and under 300 yards. Plus the line movement. Love this game as much as I love the Tampa Bay Bucs Sunday.

I think Gus is gonna let Nick maybe break some records Sat.I saw San Jose St against Navy last year.They will put up at least 21 on Auburn.You wonder if Gus wants to pad Nick's numbers a little after the suspension.I think Auburn opens up an air show SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE.The single game passing record is 44o Give or take a few yards.Gus may not want to show to much of passing game for Kansas St.Duke,Coates,Nick,Artis-Payne& Grant.Almost doesnt seem fair.

I can't think of one good reason why Malzahn would embarrass SJST and risk injury to Marshall for the sake of padding stats and/or breaking records. To the contrary this is a classic look ahead spot where Malzahn will do the minimum to win the game, and do everything in his power to keep everyone healthy for K State and the SEC grind.
That's why I would be apprehensive about laying 32.5. At 31 or better, the OVER may be the better play. What I like about Auburn is that backup QB Jeremy Johnson is almost as capable of putting points on the board as Marshall.
I think we'll see a final score of something like 55-21.
