Had a good Week 1, but a couple of bad breaks kept it from being a "Monster" week.  I'm not sure how much time I'll have to post this week, so I'll go ahead and let you know what I've played so far . . . all "Best Bets."

I like the South Alabama pick. I think South will play alot better this year. Think Jones is a good up and coming coach. They lost I think 3-4 games last yeah by less than 7 and think they had a lead in all of them late in the 4th. Should have gotten a bowl bid as they beat 3 teams that went ahead of them. Thanks for the picks and good luck.

It may bite me this week, but I going to fade Boise again this week. - at home no less.  It's more a play on CSU than a fade of Boise.  I think Boise probably pulls this out, but I think this game will come down to the wire.  10 is just too much IMO.

I don't blame you at all man.  While I was impressed with many things last week with BSU vs. things I saw last year I think we have a long way to go.  Defense is much improved but the offense is still pretty iffy with Hedrick at the helm.  Against a good CSU team I think double digits is too much as well.  I bit on the +10 last week as mostly a "holy garbage it's the first game of the year we can do this" sort of bet but am thinking i'll be laying off BSU games until I see something out of them.  BOL this week brother.  The Auburn and MSU bets were the ones that stuck out like sore thumbs to me too this week...and I'm completely tailing you (called it out in my thread) on South Alabama.  Let's cash in man

For an extra 2.5 points, not even a FG, this looks like great added value when it's already a blowout game. Thoughts?

I like your plays other than Virgina Tech going into the shoe at Ohio State in a night game none the less. I know others who are considering this game brought up how Navy moved the ball against the defensive front of the Buckeyes, but there ground game is a whole new animal. Also the transfer QB for the Hokies has proven nothing at this point, despite several people speaking highly of him.

I lost one of my "Best Bets" by a half of a point.  One of my regular bet losses was because I tried to middle the Alabama game and failed.  I also had Georgia Southern at +900 on the ML.  They lead the entire game until NC State scored the go ahead touchdown in the waning seconds of the game.  So while I had a good week 1, I was very, very close to having a much bigger week.

I have Miami +3 pending.  I didn't post it, but I also have a 2-team teaser with Tennessee +1.5 and Miami +10.5, and Miami on the ML @ +152.  Petrino scares me a little bit, but this Miami team has been super motivated all off-season to redeem themselves for the 36-9 Russell Athletic Bowl debacle.  These are two very different teams than the two who lined up against each other on December 28th.  I like Miami to open their season with a huge conference road win tomorrow night.

 

I would not sell the line below the 31 key number.  While Auburn should score a ton of points with Nick Marshall playing the entire game, San Jose State is more than capable of scoring as well.  Auburn will probably have to score in the 50s to cover this number as it is.  I think they'll do that, but 32 scares me a little bit.  I think you'd be fine at 30.5.  I think we've got one on the hook here.  Don't allow greed to let it get away.
