I usually read through all of your posts.  Read most of this thread the other day excluding the new threads.  What's your position on the S Car and UNC game?? If you have done this already please refer me to said post.   Thanks bud

Love your insight. As a Vandy alum(and current Nashville resident), I can tell you the incidents over the summer have really affected the team. That being said, James Franklin is one helluva motivator, and a gets his team fired up. I think Carta samuels will be fine this year, and they have 3 good running backs. They are deep at DL, and andre hal is a beast, and Kenny Ladler will hit the crap out of you. I'm usually with you on first half unders, but I see a 21-17 type game at half, with more of the same in the second half. Too close to call on the game line, IMO. I'll be there in black cheering on Vandy. Huge first game. Anchor Down. 

Alabama MDK's VA tech. I'll be maxing betting that one all over the place. First half, first half over points bama, bama game line, bama over line, vt under, under for half, etc...

How do you feel about Ole Miss -3.5?  Buy the hook?  Also, what if the number is as high as -4?  I live here in Bama and the local book screws lines heavily (I would not be shocked to see the Bama line as high as -24 by game time) with favorites as a general rule.  Thanks so much.

The thing that concerns me by going with Combined Total U (Game and 1st H) is that Ole Miss might go off and light the scoreboard up at any time. Wallace throwing for 400+ last year is no coincidence.

I'm still seeing -3 at 5D and BM but, yes, I would absolutely bite the bullet and buy the hook.  I bought a hook when the line was -3 @ -105 so I ended up with -2.5 @ -115.

Probably so, because I think Rice will score close to 30 themselves, but I have no clue what to expect from A&M's backup QB, so I'm going to lay off.

Thanks for you input.

Both teams stuffed each others run game last season, and I think we'll see similar results this season.  I just don't see either defense getting torched like that right out of the gate. I'll have to pay to see that happen.

I have given that quite a bit of thought, and I would probably lean slightly to the -21 simply because if something goes awry in the 1st half like a VT kick return for a touchdown, there's more time to recover if you bet it for 4 quarters.  I don't do "Max Bets" on halftime lines because most books offer much lower betting limits on those bets, so I think it defeats the purpose to some degree.

Virginia Tech will have some Beamer ball events take place unde the lights at home...when the spread hits +22.5 at kick off I will be all over the Hokies for a 3-unit play... sec bias

Vandy had a top 20 defense last year, and I expect James Franklin to have them playing very tough defense again this season.  I guess I have too much respect for Vandy's defense to think that Wallace will light them up like that.  I also expect Ole Miss' defense to be vastly improved this season.  I think both defenses will be a little ahead of the offenses right out of the gate.  I like the 1st half UNDER quite a bit.

I like both of the UNDER Vandy team total bets, but of the two, I prefer UNDER the 1st half total.

Man, I sure hope so TM.  What happened last season, last month, last week, or last bet doesn't matter.  It's all about hitting the next bet.  In other words, there's no time to start sucking each others person around here.  We have work to do!!! 


Hopefully we all have a very profitable season.  I'm confident if that counts for anything.

I will bet the 1st half UNDER at anything above 35.  I know we're talking about two prolific offenses, but both teams can play a little defense. The defenses will get some stops.
