I'm very bullish on Michigan this season. Like LSU & Florida, I think people are underestimating Michigan. Those highly rated recruiting classes are starting to make their way onto the field. I also think the return of Blake Countess will be huge. I think a lot of people have forgotten about him. I think your Wolverines have a great shot to knock off OSU this season. Should be interesting, that's for sure.

The plays have not changed except as noted in Post #109. The only issue is that many of the lines that I have posted are estimates. As of right now all of the lines have remained pretty stable, so I expect to see numbers very close to what I have already posted. I have a pretty busy day tomorrow, but at some point (may be late at night) I will consolidate all the plays into a single post.

I think I had 1 winning week all season last year in NFL.

Just got a lawsuit settlement so I don't have to be as picky this year betting.

Just deposited on Bovada tonight for the first time in 4-5 years and already 0-2. Kershaw loses to the Cubs? come on and lost a parlay.

Why is this so hard? lol

I pretty much just focus on college football. I only bet a handful of NFL games per season. There is so much parity in the NFL, I feel it is more difficult to handicap. I also bet some MMA. I guess what I'm saying is, try to focus and specialize in something.

jimmy - where can I find your analysis on the Bama/VT game? I've looked but covers search functions kinda suck.

I did find your post on wiseguys thread about Bama/VT where u think Bama -24 is a risky bet b/c Saban calls off the dogs and Hokies get a backdoor cover. Like with Michigan last year. I tend to agree. But then if Bama -24 is risky, how is Bama -18.5 a "Max Bet?" Shouldn't a "Max Bet" be reserved for games where the line is Bama -10 or so and you think they'll win by 30? All it takes is a TD here and there, Bama wins by 16 or 17. Curious for your thoughts.

BTW, I'm not calling you out. Just trying to make sense of this comment along side a Max Bet at Bama -19. I'm looking forward to reading your threads this entire fall. The hot avatar doesn't hurt either.

Here's your post on wiseguy's thread a few months ago:

"Alabama should be able to pretty much name the score against Virginia Tech, but that doesn't necessarily mean they'll cover 24. If Saban calls off the dogs in the 2nd half, the Hokies could conceivably get a backdoor cover here. There just isn't a whole lot of value on either side at 24."

Calls off the dogs in the first game of the season versus a semi-competent team...Bama needing to quickly get into BCS position so that they make the championship game....don't see that happening.

Saban wont be calling off the dogs until its a clear blowout. With A and M in a couple weeks Saban will want to get as much 1st team reps as possible. IMO the game will be far covered before Saban even thinks about pulling starters
