Current weather conditions in Pittsburgh are mid 80’s dropping to the mid 60’s at Kickoff with potential for scattered thunderstorms. So not a major contributor to the outcome.
The Orangemen and 6’3” SR QB Steve Angeli (Whom still has 2 seasons of eligibility) take their 1-1 record to Panther Territory with hopes of a win. Week one for The Cuse got that programs hope pretty high with a 66-3 trouncing over UNH. Wait who was that? They came back to earth the next game losing to Cal 21-18 at Home. Angeli was 24-49-306 yds with 1 Touch and 3 Ints. His 49% completion rate and his 96% QB rating (decent QB rating for an NFL QB, not so much in college) and inability to scramble out of situations made him look one dimensional.
In contrast Pitts SO signal caller Heintschel looked Super Human vs M-OH going 31-41-453 yds 7 TDS and 0 Ints. He and the Panthers had a bit of a scare in game 2 Beating UCF 12-7 after leading 12-0 at half. Heintschel returned to being human though in that game going 18-29-212 0 tds/0 Ints.
The biggest boring stat the I can put in front of you for this evenings game is the The Panthers have won their LAST 11 HOME games vs SYR, 7-3-1 ATS and that this is The Orangmens 1st Road Game. Pittsburghs last loss at Home vs Syr came in 2001. I like Pit here at -10.5
