Caroll willing to role the dice....goes for it on multiple 4th downs and gets it done.
 
Tressell is all about the delay of game pooch punt bull shit instead of playing to win.
 
Carroll goes for it at the begining of the game on the goal line and gets the TD...Tressell would never do it.

Being a PSU fan it was disapointing when Prior chose OSU but I am not sure at this point he will ever be much of a quarterback.  His decision making is questionable at best, coaching staff obviously has no faith in him, still cant read a defense.
 
I would seriously consider making him a WR/RB type of player and start developing another quarterback.

This was OSU's best opportunity to stop the bleeding and the Vest's playcalling blew it. Prime time revenge game at home going against a young defense featuring a true frosh QB and the frosh got the "Hollywood" ending (as Brent said).

Oh the pain OSU fans and players must be feeling now.

i have to say, OSU didnt let Pryor run enough. i was on pins and needles everytime he ran the ball.

Exactly!! I felt the SC defense was getting extremely tired. They would be even more had Pryor ran and ran some more, but only the Vest can answer as to why on this. Pryor ran and picked up the 1st on 3rd and 15 and yet that was it for his running. Strange.

give it up to OSU's o/d line. They dominated, until the last drive when it counts. Hit the weight room and do some cardio. That last drive was wayyyyy too easy.

I guess you guys don't remember Vince Young his freshmen a soph seasons?   He sucked hairy longhorn balls.   Then his junior season things turned around for him and his senior season he single handedly beat USC for the BCS title.   And in my opinion Pryor is far more advanced in his development at this same time as Vince was.   The problem is the head coach.   He is way to cautious.
