Being an affiliate is not illegal. You cannot get into trouble for promoting, only owning. You are indeed a moron...

So Oregon supporters basic argument is that Auburn is going to get winded in the 4th quarter by Oregon's frantic and crazy speed....

what if the game is well out of reach by the 4th?

How are your picks going here this year? Oh wait..I'm sorry, I did not realize you are here to simply talk and not make picks...Make some winning picks then you can criticize people who make money.

It will be...Auburn's line's (both sides will control the game). The final will most likely be well over double digits. I originally thought 45-31, but the more I see the more I realize that Oregon will not be able to handle the physical pounding they will endure...Auburn wins something like 52-24...

It's kind of funny how Droxside claimed to be "signing off", but has no life and needed to comeback.

Oh man, oh well. Welcome back, friend. We are all here for you.

Oh man, oh well. Welcome back, friend. We are all here for you.

Thanks Sarah, I appreciate it. Like I said, your like a bad drug that is hard to shake, you need to be dealt with along with your girlfriend that you had post earlier in the day. Thanks for being here for me it means a lot, you are a true friend, a little off, but true...Best Of Luck..P.S. Like I said, the more I look at the two teams, the more I suspect Auburn will be just too physical for Oregon. I have no doubt the Ducks will break a few long one's, but they will not be able to sustain long drives against a powerful front seven that will dominate the line of scrimmage and reek havoc on the Ducks continuity. On the other side it will be a total mis-match. Newton will run for 150-200 yards and Dyer will add on late...Auburn 52-24 I think...Sarah, I will be posting my plays soon, will you do the same so we can compare after the fact?

You see, it should be "too" not "to." Is Cam too much of what for Oregon? Also, your wager is SQUARE. It is square because you are taking the Heisman Trophy winner and a team from a conference that has won four straight titles and they are favored. Drox... you have no idea what you are doing here, do you?  as a general rule, i do my talking before games, and not after them... but i think i'm going to have to make an exception for this game...

Oregon hasn't given up more than 31 to anybody this year... playing in a conference that has much better offenses than Auburn... meanwhile, against the only respectable defenses Auburn faced this year (Miss St, LSU, Alabama, Clemson)... they couldn't break 28 points...

how the fuck are they going to score 52 on Oregon?  by magic?

it's not going to happen... Auburn is looking at maybe 35 points... and i see now way that they hold Oregon under 38... best case scenario, Auburn wins a close game... worst case, they get rolled by 2 TDs or more...

Not to pick a fight with you Apoc, but numbers can be read any way you want.  Cal was the only decent defense Oregon faced, ranked at 22, and only managed 15 points.  You can blame that on the "injury" gameplan if you like, but you should know better than that.  Auburn faced number 6 and 9, plus other highly ranked defenses, and produced much better numbers in comparison.  I'll grant yo that this Oregon team is not last year's team, but this is the same type type of match-up as last year, where they'll be facing a significant size and strength disadvantage.  It'll be interesting.

I appreciate your opinion, just disagree. av8rg8r put it better then I probably can but will say that Auburn is going to dominate Oregon when on offense for the simple fact that Oregon will not be able to stop Auburn physical, power running with Newton and Dyer. I really expect Auburn to control both lines of scrimmage and Oregon to possible get discouraged later in the game once they realize they cannot stop Newton on the ground, much less the air. Auburn's physical defensive front 7 along with enough speed to keep up will cause problems for the Ducks continuity. They will score some points, but not be able to keep up.

One very important point is that I do not believe Oregon will have very many sustained drives due to what I have already said and the notion that Fairly and the others will be sucking wind will not happen, at leat no more then normal. If anything, the 11 defensive players for Oregon who get stuck on the field late in the 3rd or early 4th quarter after Auburn runs to it's sideline (to keep the ball over there) on 1st down from it's own 20 and runs about 10-14 plays on a drive will officially be spent and exhausted after chasing Newton all night.

I respect what Oregon has done and in fact rode them along with Auburn on several winning small parlays and teasers when others thought the road or what not would get them, but they have little chance in even slowing Auburn down with Newton running the offense and just will not be able to keep up....

i'm not going that much on numbers... i just think when you look into the two teams game by game there is no big edge that every one is claiming for Auburn... it isn't there...

i think everyone is getting overly excited about Auburn... we'll see... pretty sure i will be on Oregon... just hoping that all the Auburn love pushes the line up another 1/2 point...

I know this has nothing to do with the thread, but Michigan actually has the fastest no huddle offense. Not even trying to say they are on the same level as Oregon or Auburn. Just FYI :)

one thing that will help Auburn is the fact that Malzahn is staying after rumors he would leave... that will definitely give them a boost and be a rallying cry for them... not sure that is enough, but it helps...

Ouch? That was a bit harsh! No need for the hostility!

Did you get a chance to watch any Michigan games this year? Obviously their offense isn't half what Oregon's is overall, but their snap to snap time is actually the fastest. Unless the little chart they put up on ESPN during the Penn State game was garbage. Not saying everything ESPN uses is 100% accurate, but I doubt it was complete nonsense either. I don't remember exact numbers, but it showed the percentage of plays snapped with 25+ seconds left, 20+ seconds left, and so on. Might have been one of ESPN's BS stats we see everyday, just thought it was worth noting.

I don't post often, and am on the other side, but my hat's off to Sarah for a most entertaining (and evidently provocative) thread.I don't claim to be a high profile capper; still, I'd like to stick my toe in the water on this one.  I think the clock will roll a little more than most in this game, primarily from nerves, and from both teams being thrown off their game a bit. As a result, I like the under (around 68), and I like Auburn by 6 to 8 (sorry, Sarah).  While speed of play can wear down an opponent, so can size and strength, and after my study that's way i see it.  Just the same, good luck to all, and thanks again for your thread, Sarah.
