I love watching the Ducks play. I made some good coin on them this year.
Coming from a non-Tiger fan, the "Cam is the offense" statement is a huge misconception about Auburn. Newton's #s in the second half of games this year are off of the charts ....first half of games --not so much.
Personally, I think that Oregon is much more of a one man show than Auburn. Without James, The Ducks would be hurting.
I fully expect Auburn to come out early with a heavy dose of Michael Dyer and Mario Fannin....two 220# running backs running backs with as much speed as LaMichael James. Early in the game, on short yardage plays, the Ducks will get a shot to bring down Philip Lutzenkirchen (6'4" 258lb) running back (that's not a typo).
Oregon will adjust to this style of play and pack the middle. That's when Kodi Burns and Terrell Zachery will make them pay on the corners which forces the two deep cover zone which unleashes the play action, which freezes the line backers, which will allow the running backs and Newton to get to the corner and then the SEC will have another national championship.
People are also missing the point on the defensive side of the ball.
Auburn ranks in the top 10 of virtually every meaningful defensive catagory in the country....pass def ratio to turn over differential.
Everyone at this level has some size and speed. The depth of Auburn will be the difference.

You know I've said things to Sarah that I probably should not have, but she is no capper, only someone bragging about 40-1 odds on Oregon, odds that never existed, and a making comments about a team she has never seen in Auburn that are so far off base they are laughable. I have no doubt that you will do well because you are a very good capper, but understand that more than half of your well thought out and written rant above may be well written and well said for the most part, but has little to do with what is going to happen. I could not care less how many times Auburn won by what or how many teams Oregon wore down, this is not those games as you will find out and please, no more "but Tennessee is an SEC team"...Maybe, but they are far from Auburn. Auburn does have to defense to compete with Oregon and will hold them to 24-34 points most likely all the while Newton and Auburn's offense which is much more then just him physically dominate Oregon's defense and Oregon will simply not be able to keep up...Best Of Luck...
