Cam Newton's last season in NCAA

The implications may cost him the Heisman.

He's not gonna be an NFL star.  Unless he can be a tight end or running back.

His college career may be over.

This is gonna be a big story.

your on drugs they have no case. the investigation will take years same as reggie bush. he left usc in 2006 and the investigation concluded in 2010.   

This guy is still in school.  If a shred of this is true...he's done. 

BIG media outlets are running with the story.

Bush was out of school when they got the evidence.  This could be bad.

He's going to play in the NFL.  As a QB?  Maybe but he's playing in the NFL!

And unless you heard something I haven't, it doesn't even look like this is an investigation, it looks like it is an accusation.  We will see as the story develops but if Cam Newton sits out this week, he did something wrong!

you think auburn will suspend him yaaa right? ncaa investigations take years look at rich rod in michigan. its a major distraction though and he will have to answer questions no doubt.

Good bye Heisman.  You heard it here first.  There is no way he gets the award.

Auburn may be forced to distance themselves from him to save the program.

I can't see how voters are going to pick him for heisman, especially with the investigation going on. I'm not exactly sure if he is finished from College football but this story is gaining traction.

With Bush there were whispers, but the implications came down way after he won the trophy.

So who exactly does this allegation look bad for?  You may want to read that article a few more times.  It has NOTHING to do with Auburn recruiting him.

This is nothing more than a rogue MSU alum who runs football camps and associates with nfl agents attempting to sell Newton behind the scenes, without the knowledge of newton or his parents.

This story has been out for months, why all of sudden now is the media running with it?

Forget auburn's football program, its overall reputation is in danger. I think he will/should be bench until this clears up ( if it does for the better ). Lamichael James for Heisman?

Chizik has already stated on his radio show this week that Cam is eligible to play football for Auburn university.

Guarantee he will be in the lineup this weekend.

Interesting that this comes out now, not 3 weeks ago, etc.
