Yes, im broke. Not because of bad picks but because of poor bankroll managment.
I started with 1.5k and made it to 8k. Today im at 0. Had a very bad week and decided to go nuts on Wisconsin, what a heart break.
My last 1k i bet on two 7 team NFL teasers. One ticket lost only because of the Chargers, who lost by 6 and i had them at +5. The other teaser lost only bc of the Ravens. And no, i didnt hedge.
Heartbreak.
I decide to make a last stand, reloading for 500 and betting a teaser on : FIU pick, Pitt-4, Mia-7.5, Houston -21.
I get to my bookie and they wont take teasers with FIU, so I make the degen move of betting FIU straight up -6.5. They win by 3. I lose.
So now im 2k in the hole. What to do, What to do?
Im thinking about putting in my last 500 and if i lose call it a season and try it out next year.
What would be your move? What would you bet if you decide to make a last reload of 500?

You have even worse money management than me and I never thought that was possible!
Just think what you could have done with that 8K. Jesus dude. Maybe you're in the minority that wipes his ass--technically you did anyway--with that amount, but even Gordon Gekko's asshole would shrink to the size of a decimal point knowing you did that.
Like I said, don't be a fuckin' cowboy. Keep your $500 and buy yourself a handjob. Just a handjob, no sex. After all, you're going to need some relaxation after the ass-fucking you just took.
Call it quits man. Call it quits.

You should keep your $500 and quit forever.

I'd cut the losses and keep the last 500 and take a break. Being on a drought like that your mind is set just to get your money back or at least be back in the positive. Once your mind is in that state you just need to pull back. You're not thinking clearly. Just my opinion.

I have $600 aside for betting until next payday. If I lose that on Pitt tomorrow, you won't see me betting for a very long time.
It's the casino effect. You try and seek revenge for that couple hundred you lost at the blackjack table. So you go harder, stronger and like a cowboy you go for the home run ball. 9.9 out of 10 times you will lose your entire wallet.
When you start losing you will continue to lose if you are seeking revenge. Your thought of avenging your pride, dignity and money will cloud your idealism of making a pick because you know what you're doing, hence throwing darts with a blindfold.
The absolute only reason I am going to reload with Pitt tomorrow is because I'm a Pitt beat writer, because I feel I have a little edge on this team covering them (I am 9-1 betting on Pitt/WVU games this year). But that is the only reason. Otherwise it's back to the drawing board.
Be safe and good luck, again.

Wow, oh Wow!!!! Well man i'll share my story real quick other wise you'll be reading a novel. Last year dude I took my time and make my way up to about 4K from 300 bucks. That's how I do it though, that's my strategy, I start small. And don't care how long it takes, I make that small amount work for me until I grow it. That way if I get it up and lose it, i've only put in 300 bucks. I don't like putting in big amounts, because that's my money and I want to win their money and not lose mine. Anyways, long story short. Last year I got up to 4K from Football right, so I was riding high man cocky as fuck. Felt like I could do no wrong and was gonna be a big baller as I kept making money and banking.
Well 1 bet sent me reeling and I never recovered and fucked me for the rest of the year as I could never get my mojo back. It was a late basketball game that came on at 3am or something crazy because the game was being played in Puerto Rico or something. It was Central Michigan Chippawas vs. some fuckin team. Anyways, I see a dude on this site I respected say he had a best bet for this game. So I did my research and went with the game, I would never bet on Central Michigan basketball game. But I was cocky had a nice bankroll and did. I put 1G on the spread, then was like fuck it this is a best bet put another 1G on the game so that's 2Gs on a shitty team I would never do this in a million years. Of course they lost the game, and I lost a little over half my bankroll.
After that, I bleeding never stopped and mentally I couldn't recover. Every bet after that was gut wrenching and I was betting not to lose, which we all now that's how you lose.
Well this year i'm up with a nice bankroll again, and won't make a mistake like that again... Just remember, when you make bad decisions with money management man that it will take you longer to recover from that, then it takes to make a good decision and win or money manage good and just not lose so much.
Man take my advice and stop betting for a while maybe a week or two or even a month. Then take that 500 and go back at'em. And if you lose that, just quit for the rest of the year. And enjoy doing something else, cause this does not seem like the way your going to be able to make money. It's only you giving your money away..... Quit for a while.
