Well, the backdoor is still open with 8 mins left.....
However this ends, it will be covers bedlam. Everyone that bet on Boise will say how they should have scored more points, and everyone on Utah will say the same thing.
Everyone will forget the other teams missed chances, and only point to their own.
Get ready.....

Totally agree - his decision to throw the screen on 2nd down cost them the TD. Boise only scored because of that play.

Wow, you pretty much are playing the mediator since you are telling everyone how each side will respond. Not sure what that brings to the table other than telling both sides "I told you so" ??

not exactly the best post i've ever seen from you, Gilberto... assuming you watched the game, i would think you would realize that Van's comment was accurate... it was a game of missed opportunities on both ends, and with what we know of this site, whoever was going to win this game would be saying "i told ya so"... which they are... and whoever lost would be saying "woulda coulda shoulda"... which they are...
and in response to your last comment... if you had read anything else on the thread, you would have seen that he clearly had a play on Utah (+17)...

Had Boise-but god damn-that is a completely different game if Utah's wideouts could hang on to a freaking ball. I am honest, I had Boise Big and was very confident, but I was never sure the enitre game-even after the gatorade shower! I remember going to bed last night, thinking I got all the bounces and breaks last night.
I WILL TAKE IT!

trugameone... i don't think Tulsa has much of a chance of winning... not a great chance of covering, either... CUSA was really bad this year... Hawaii should give them a pretty good smacking...

Navy is great at what they do, but the SD St defense is solid, and their offense moves the ball FAST. Sometimes teams like Navy frustrate them by keeping the offense off the field for a long time, but I think SD St's defense will make a lot of stops, making it a very long night for the Midshipmen.

It was a very strange game, and that is actually what I was hoping for. I used the term variance earlier, and that game had a lot of variance - on both sides. That makes 2 bowl games in a row that were tough and strange.
