I am not on tonight's game,

and as of right now I have a heavy heavy lean on PSU, Wisconsin, Northwestern, and Iowa.

The only Big 10 team I don't like is my beloved Buckeyes, I will post a write up about all these games sooner than later.

Good luck with whatever you choose.

5-0 (+7.88 Units) thus far

I was initially leaning on Temple for today, then I switched my lean to UCLA, which I still feel strongest about, however I will not be making a play on this game because I love the later game too much, and don't want to cut into any possible profits with a weak/mediocre play.

On to tonight game between Wisconsin and Miami.  I know a lot of you don't like length write ups, and I don't like doing all that typing, so I will put my reasons for my play in simply bullet format.



Wisconsin +3.5 (even) 2 Unit Play

Reasons I will be betting on Wisconsin:

-better coach

-better offensive line

-Miami is small and athletic up front, Wisconsin is going to be able to offset the speed of the defense by doing what they do best, run right at them

-Wisconsin will have the "home field advantage"

-Wisconsin will be able to control the clock making the .5 of the hook huge, could see this game coming down to a field goal either way

-People think this Wisconsin team is only a running team.  Although they did struggle against Ohio State and Iowa I do think those two teams have fantastic defenses.  Look for Wisconsin to kill Miami on the play action over and over.


Reasons I will be betting against Miami:

-One of the worst coaches in football

-won't be able to defend the run

-won't be able to exploit Wisconsin's weak secondary because they won't be able to control the clock.

-over confidence

-Miami has struggled against power running teams

-Harris is hurt, on his throwing hand, the extent is still in question...but more importantly the Canes best player is going to be out for this game, LT Jason Fox.

-Miami is obviously going to have to throw the ball, however when you are missing your best offensive lineman, and add that to a QB with a bad finger on his throwing hand, seems like a perfect storm for an early exit for the Miami quarterback.

Coach-Congrats on your excellent start! Will add one more thing to support Wisc. In addition to LT Fox being out, Wisconsin does a terrific job of rushing the QB in the first place. Look for a couple of more Int's from Harris....

I also like most of the Big Ten Teams this Bowl Season, including Ohio St.....

Coach--No Fox means no great protection of the QB which means I like the play coach...

Hey coach you're a solid capper but doesn't geo tech have a better running game than wisky and the canes did a good job on them. IMO Mia speed will be the diff in this game.

Even though we're not on the same side tonight.  GL Coach & Happy Holidays too ya always like reading your threads.

Big Buckeyes fan myself from NE Ohio. WOuld you not have to lean under in both games today. Weather factor in both and only big play possibilities are from MIami.

I don't put a lot of stock in games 2 weeks into the season.  

USC was a top 3 team in the country after week 3.

No lean on the totals for either game.  Although I can tell it's a bad sign when the entire forum is on a play, and the entire forum is on the under today in D.C.
