Wasnt on anyone before, didnt really look at the game yet, but I am thinking with withe the Public banging away at Nebraska, AZ is the right pick...They will find a way to score, even though many havent, they will.

Lean on BG because Idaho has NO defense, but this will be a no play for me.

Long story short:

I think that Nebraska has absolutely NO offense.  They will be able to muster FG's here and there but this is still a pretty solid/well coached Arizona defense.  

Arizona will have trouble running the ball but they will be able to gain big chunks of yards through wr screens and big plays down the field.

Most importantly I think it's the classic situation of one team being thrilled to be in the bowl game they are in vs. a team very disappointed being where they are.  To me this is the single biggest advantage when betting bowl games.

With two evenly matched teams I will take the team that wants to be there and has an ability to score in bunches.

Great start first of all. A little lucky on Clemson and USC if you ask me, but still you are 6-0 and that's more than I can say for myself. However, I saw you said you really like Penn State, and I cannot for the life of me figure out why. While PSU cruises through their easy Big 10 Schedule and gets completely shut down by the two good defenses they saw, LSU is keeping it competitive with the likes of Bama and Florida. I know the offense struggled at times but I think LSU handles Penn State just fine. Would love to know where you're coming from on that one. Also Auburn and any other Little 10 team you are backing.

I will have a more detailed write up in a few days but the main reason I am backing Penn St. is because of their defense.  I think a lot of people will find out this bowl season that the big 10 was vastly underrated and loosing to Ohio St. and Iowa is nothing to be ashamed of.

LSU has a putrid offense and Penn St. has an amazing defense.  I don't see LSU scoring more than 13 which should mean a fairly easy Penn St. cover...IMHO.

USC is an entire different story.  Anyone who had BC was lucky to be in the game.  They had one good quarter of football.  If you watched that game from start to finish you would have seen a USC team dominate 3 quarters of play...IMHO

Fair enough coach but where was PSU's great defense when the Buckeyes (far from an offensive powerhouse) hung 24 on them. My thought is that if OSU and Iowa can hold them to 7 and 10 respectively, LSU will do the same. Close low-scoring game won by LSU in my view.

Not really, total toss up for me, game will be won with turnovers.

But one thing you can count on, or should i say can't count on is defense.

To me this is a play on a team and perception.

Virginia Tech is the most underrated team in the country year in and year out.  Their coaching staff is the most underrated coaching staff year in and year out.

When I see this Virginia Tech team I see a team that had two bad weeks otherwise would be in a BCS game.  I see a team that played Alabama very tough and could have won the game.

But mainly what I see is a team that has a substantial quarterback advantage.  I see a team that will be able to stifle the run.  What is Tennessee going to do when they can't run the ball?  They are going to have to rely on Crompton to make plays, and this spells disaster for the Vols.  

The ONLY thing that worries me is Kiffen having this long to prepare for a game.

But Kiffen does not play the game, and to be honest, Tennessee is going to get embarrassed in this game.

Virginia Tech is a running team but Taylor can make plays on his own.  If Tenn shuts down the run they are still going to be able to move the ball.

This is a serious VT defense, and they are going to put the game in Crompton's hands.

Looks for at least 2 scores from this VT defense.
