Wow, over???

Have to say, I have been checking your picks ever since I joined this website (whole bowl season) and when picking I have been tailing your plays for the bowls when you, Placinunits and Investments4U are all on the same play (last night...big win, thanks). Can`t believe you are on the over.

But, I don`t want to go opposite you. Any reason for the over? Iowa played in 3 games that went over 50 (Michigan, Indiana and Ohio and I throw out the Indiani turnover fest). Now, Tech did play some high scorers but, against better competition had their lower scores, Miami (50), Georgia (54), VaTech (51). I figure the trend of low 50`s against good teams combined with Iowa`s low scoring puts this game in the low 40`s. 21-17, 24-21 max.Even 28-21. I`m leaning Iowa and the under.

Any way you could elaborate?

Basically to me this is going on the history of Iowa in their bowl games.

-Their last 5 bowl games they have scored at least 24 points themselves.

-Their last 6 bowl games the total has at least hit 50 or more.


To me Iowa will be ready to play tonight and put at least 24 on the board.  With that thinking all Georgia Tech needs to do is score that same 24 and I will get AT LEAST a push.  However I think Georgia Tech will do plenty of scoring themselves as Stansy should be a little rusty off the long lay off.

I could easily see this game with both team scoring in the 30's, thus the reason I took a shot on the alt. over.

The only other play I am on is Alabama -3.5 for 1 unit
