BYU starting TE Matt Bushman suffers a season ending knee injury in practice yesterday .

Not much depth at that position for BYU .

Vanderbilt starting LT  Stephen Spanellis ( Mich. transfer ) has opted out of this season.

That makes the fourth Vandy OL to opt out of this season.

QB's are currently missing valuable practice time due to covid per P.S.

This is not good for BYU backers 

Georgia QB Jamie Newman opts out of the season.

Wow ,  and another big name opts out . I think there is still more to come come bud

Tweeter is with the Austin American Statesman...  Vitt, Caillouet and Laham are roommates so may just be one had and only contact w roommates but open question why the 4th guy would be sidelined... maybe real question is if there's more out there..

Also note Tyler Huff - TE injured in fall camp... Per news it sounds like Dotson Schaefer is only available TE... he's listed as a soph DL per cfbstats roster... I can't find him in the Phil chart for either position... not sure what happened to the other TE's ..

I think week 1 will have so many it'll make our heads spin... closed practices...secret depth charts.. I'd say any team whose not releasing their depth chart and talking about whose in and explains any changes is a suspect we just can't clear .. 

SMU game came down from bookmaker for a few minutes ... lines are jumpin ... -23 now .. down a point or so in the total to 68.5 ..

Yikes... and sounded like they were gunna be testing out their two brand new QB's vs Houston Baptist game... Its an underdog world right now... could get interesting... 

Updates BYU Navy tight end out.. This is GR8 news for BYU backers! Line will move to Navy, but there have been reports coming out of camp that their back up tight end has been killing it, so much so that while bushman was the unquestioned starter, their back up had actually had a better camp. BYU will handle Navy with ease. Navy is a plug and play system, but Malcolm Perry wasn’t a plug and player so it’s not realistic to expect Navy to just next man up this one
