7. Don't try to be a hero all the time by going ATS.....sometimes the best / safest bet is a Moneyline bet. Some may perceive this a a box bet but when the fave only covers by 3 and you took the fave moneyline, you win instead of push....I consider that a great bet. Here is a hard cold fact people.......Favs in the NFL win by exactly 3 points 10% of the time. This is a fact...look it up anywhere. Anyone who reads this and will try to dispute it with me ....I will not even acknowledge them, they just don't have their shit together.... PERIOD.

8. The MOST profitable sport by far for the books is the NFL. They make most of their money on the NFL...it is their lifeblood, the reason they breath,  the reason they exist is to take action on NFL games........ya know why?????

 Because of its great PARITY...(don't know what that word means) look it up !! Any given sunday any team can win.

Much more money can be made on college football and college basketball as well as NBA and MLB. the books do not allow as much for single wagers on these sports because there are just TOO many games to line  and the chance for a skewed line is much greater.

Don't feel like you HAVE to pick a game in the NFL to be a good/profitable capper, look elsewhere there is a lot of value every season in  the college football.

Booz.......this is not my opionion but rather fact. The NFL is the reason the books exist believe me. All other sports combined do not add up to NFL  take.

I;m not here to come across as a know it all but that is a hard fact of vegas......THEY LIVE FOR THE NFL. Period.

I don't want to sound arrogant here but trust me 100% on that.....I personally KNOW. It's not a secret...it's just really hard to get anyone at the casinos to talk openly about it.

as an example.......the big 3 in Vegas made and ABSOLUTE killing on all the Patriot super bowl wins because they didn't cover ATS in any of them.

 The public comes out in droves for the superbowl......who does joe public take.."THE FAVE" Most of the time !!!!!!!

Vegas was laughing all the way to bank....A super bowl fave that wins the game but doesn't cover ATS is the holy grail for the books

yeah. but for an NBA TITLE...u have to win 5 games..not just ONE..more games=more money for books

 

im not tryn to be a dick...

books have a better chance of winning money with MORE games in a single season compared to ANY other sport....think about it.

no other sport comes anywhere near the action(money takin in) that the NFL brings. Yup you're right, a lot more games in the NBA, MLB but they just don't draw the action that the NFL does. I know it's hard to beleive but I know first hand...I've spoken to the people that know...I've seen it first hand. The NFL brings out the casual bettor that does NOT bet any other sports like the nba, mlb etc.

Vegas IS the reason the NFL is such a giant business. The NFL will never admit it but they know VEGAS made them what they are today.

I totally understand your reasoning...but more games does not mean more revenue because Vegas just doesn't get the action on an NBA  game like you may think. It's VERY, VERY, VERY small compared to an NFL game.
