I will be on VT as well, and likely Florida as long as it stays within 3 pts.
Ohio St is a good bet but so far I am holding off on that game.   Bama -11 should be solid, may be the best play.

Bib  the line on the Ala/Utah is way to high at 101/2-11
 
Utah comes to play in these games and has won 5 straight bowl games. Sabin is already dising the Utes and they have to be down after the Gator game
 
The numbers suggest a closer game
 
Utah has beaten BYU and TCU  in 2 of their last 3. They killed BYU in their last game
 
This is a HUGE game for the Utes and they always come up with a few neat gadget plays like the hook and ladder
 
From an emotional stand point I think utah has a big edge here.

It was against BC too I've faded my Hokies several times this year. They are the most undervalued team in CFB at this point. They have improved with every game. Their much better than their record indicates

I agree with this statement, they are 10x better than the record indicates.

Its like what the great Denny Green always said You are what you are and what your record is.  BOL I have not looked into this game that much yet to give any great feedback.  Hope we all make some big money this bowl season.

Except that is completely thrown out the window in CFB. The fact you can make one of the top 5 bowls with 4 losses is an absolute joke. We would have been in the same bowl if we were 12-1 at this point. So our record really is meaningless

BYU is not a good team and if you watched the TCU/Utah game you know that Utah should not have won that game.  TCU missed what, 5 field goals? They also shot themselves in the foot the entire game and it took a last minute drive by Utah to win.  TCU was and is the better team.  I think Bama owns Utah in this game.

Im just saying that I know Utah will show up and give 100%
 
Bama will be down playing in a lesser bowl and with Saban's BCS comments I think the Utes will have a big psychological edge
 
Im a numbers guy, but in this game I think it will be hard for Bama to get up. How would you feel losing the SEC and not playing for the Natl championship. They have to be down
 
I think there is value in Utah with DD.
 
I respect bib and I am just offering my opinion

I like em all Bibendi but ill probably lay off for Texas at least for a while. I can easily see them blowing out OSU.

Bib, you makin' me sad!   Texas plays well in bowl games, especially in this position.  They will be ready, and they will spank THE Ohio State University!

like the picks so far Bib......

kinda like bama, esp with saban have a month to prepare....but Utah always comes to bowls ready to play....can JPW lead this team to 30+ points??

Ohio St should key on the fact that mccoy is the teams leading rusher...no running game should hurt texas...they are gonna have to blitz him all day and hope he make a couple bad decisions....

cant wait to see the Mizzou/NW line....i'm guessing MU opens at -10/11, maybe up to 2 tds.....they should be healthy by then.....this will be daniel, coffman and most likely maclins last game of college ball....they came to play vs arkansas last year and I think they can put up 50+ on NW .....I only worry about motivation after getting crushed by OU...if this game was this Saturday, i'd probably say take NW, but the game is over 3 weeks away and these kids should be recharged....

Mizzou gets a few weeks to regroup, then they head down to warm-weather Texas to throw it all over the place.

Absolutely agree with the Florida pick.  OU will get throttled just like the USC game.  Won't even be close.

I still think Florida and Oklahoma will both score more than 35. There is so much emotion and energy in the Championship game that sparks fly. And these games seem to last forever.

If Bama can move the ball like that and score 20 on Florida, Oklahoma can score at least 38. Florida defense was looking very mediocre in the 3rd quarter vs Bama. Oklahoma's huge offensive line will push them around. And Bradford is a much better and more accurate passer than Tebow and can also run.

I see it as a 45-41 kind of a game. The Defense that gets one or two stops and allows a FG instead of a TD wins.

I like the over.

I agree to an extent but you can find out alot of the quality of teams they win or lose against.  And yes 4 loses in a chamionship is a joke and to be honest the Acc and Big East this year blows so have to find out info on this game and see if Cincy who I feel is undervalued as well match up.  BOL

As a VT fan, I think I have to disagree with you in their game.  I don't know much about the Cincy defense, but I'll take anybody's defense to shut down our offense when Stinespring has a few weeks to come up with a brilliant gameplan.  I also think that Cincy's offense matches up really well against our defense.

beamer and bud foster with a month to get a healthy defense ready vs imo an overrated cincy squad ......taylor can lead this team and now hes got a little experience and confidence....


cincy defense = bc defense imo

Texas - Ohio State is a tough one.  Ohio State has been improving all season and there isn't a lot on their minds other than getting better and playing a hell of a game. Maybe a little BCS redemption too, but that never hurt anyone.

I hold Pryor in the highest regards as a competitor.  I think we are going to see very much a "Sophomore looking"  Terrel than the Freshman he is...

That being said Texas just may be the best team in the Country.  They had a nasty streak of four tough games and just came up short against a Red-Hot Tech Team, but man was Texas beat-up.
Four tough games in a row like that is unheard of in College Football. 

Will they be playing "show we belong football" like Georgia last year or will they deflate like the Oklahoma teams of recent past? 

Georgia almost back-doored the Championship Game last year whereas I think Texas might feels as though they lost it and are wondering what they have to play for?

Lastly oh how I wish Texas was matched up against Bama - I think they would have crushed them.

And Ohio State would have been more than happy to dismantle the Utes,
