B1G week 4 - remember these are moving a ton week to week, probably will start being a little more useful for the week 5 games
Ohio St - Nebraska 1.57 Penn St 2.47 Iowa 12.43 USC 15.46 Indiana 17.89 UCLA 22.03 Washington 22.69 Maryland 23.59 Michigan 24.97 Wisconsin 25.57 Northwestern 28.39 Michigan St 31.44 Minnesota 38.17 Rutgers 40.19 Oregon 40.39 Illinois 41.89 Purdue 44.17
Interested to see how this Michigan-Iowa game shakes out. Feels like a game the total can't be made low enough. Tough to see Bryce sustaining drives with how poorly the OL has been in the run game. Jordan Marshall banged up so should see a lot more of the freshman Hiter. Iowa solid on defense as always, #1 in yards against per game through 3 weeks. Shocking to me that it feels like we don't have a reliable TE option this year, although hopeful the return of Hansen can be that guy. Michigans defense is really really good, best I've seen in a few years. Still wondering how the interior of the DL will hold up in B1G play but they were good against OU a few weeks ago. Lot's of pressure with just 3 and 4 man rushes. The edge group might be the best I've seen here and we've put some good ones into the league recently, the 2 true freshman (Meadows and Boney) simply have to get snaps. Great depth. LB's have been a nice surprise and the secondary is awesome, not sure there's a true #1 CB yet but we'll see when theres more challenging passing offenses. Lastly... Tommy Carr... he throws a fantastic ball, bryce better keep up the improvements is all ill say! Penalties and turnovers will prevent this team from reaching it's full potential though. Lose the TO battle and more dumb penalties is exactly how to get beat by Iowa.
Total clunker from USC. Remember that cross country travel... that betting angle is very real in this conference!
Purdue - They can't stop a thing but they're kind of fun to watch. Overs, overs, and more overs.
Feels odd to say this when you look at the stats, but Idk about Julian Sayin. One of the easier jobs in America with all the skill guys around him and man when things get tough that balls either going up for 4 to make a play (not a bad thing just to be clear) or there's a questionable decision/throw being made. Was easier last year with Tate out there as well.
Im ready to see Indiana's first 3 games @Nebraska, OSU, @Michigan in October. Genuinely not sure I've ever seen a softer first 5 games. Almost impossible to play that schedule with the realignment. Zero read on this team yet but do know that Hoover has to be a better protector of the football to make a deep run.
Oregon... no idea yet. The above numbers don't include FCS stats so the 84-0 romp was meaningless here.
Penn St only laying 10 at home vs Wisconsin... easy money per my rankings or is the jury still out on them too?
We'll give it one more week and look back on these! GL this week

There is a game in the BIG10 that I am eyeing and going to take the home team and probably large if I get my number.....here is a clue, they were just in the Top 25 ranking early in the season last year and faced a Top 10 team who was on the road/while they were at home
And Indiana played a similar powderpuff schedule last year > 1 P6 game + 2x 1A blowouts ......and they beat up this Top 10 team badly in week 4!
Guess what line I am watching?
This will probably give it away....but the coach's attention to detail is so good in the first half of the season, I would still probably take the number as it stands right now
Proving is hard. Talk is easy.
As always....great intel bro

Indiana drilled Illinois in week 4 last year… I think you’re referring to Oregon -3 vs usc this week but just had the ‘25 schedule incorrect? Otherwise you’d be talking about the Illini but they’re on the road in cbus.
if you’re talking about Oregon, yeah tough to argue if you think they’re the team from the preseason rating then this is a clear play on them

Just going with the above numbers although like I said would still like another week of data. I’m not sold on Hoover for Indiana, I think that NW with Chiles and a solid RB room can move the ball a little bit here, hopefully can finish some drives. Like the over a bit too.
Friday night first B1G play of the year
Northwestern +20.5
