I was more than happy to discuss this game with anyone, but I had to bow out when the idiocy took over.  I'm just not going to bang heads with people who have no interest in listening, or carrying on a productive conversation.  But putting my fanhood aside and analysing the first game as a gambler, I don't see how anyone could have wagered money on LSU.  Alabama was clearly the better team on both sides of the ball.

I said in my first Bama/LSU write-up that Alabama was the better team, and the only way they would lose is if they beat themselves.  That's exactly what they did.  I knew they wouldn't do it a second time.

On a side note, I wonder who Michigan State fans bet on tonight???  I bet they were on Bama.  Last year's Capital One Bowl and tonight's game were the two most dominant wins in BCS history.  Total domination from start to finish in both games.

I don't know for sure, but it seemed like most Covers posters were on LSU and over tonight.  I can understand the LSU much more than the over.  I said repeatedly that I thought that was a terrible bet.  Hopefully I was able to sway some to the right side tonight.

For the sake of brevity, I tried to limit the write-up to what I felt would be the most salient points of the game which I thought would be the quarterbacks.  I really didn't think special teams would be a big factor in the game.
