All qualifying edges = 1U play
Week Zero:
Only one for this week
Memphis +5.5
Best of luck this season
Between Jackson Arnold and Alex Orji, I'm not sure exactly how much to downgrade UNLV's offense from Colandrea.
Memphis is a whole new team now with Charles Huff taking over for Ryan Silverfield as the Tigers' head coach. Zero returning starters on defense. I have some blind confidence in Huff, who has a history of solid starts with new programs.
All that to say, the under is my lean, as key parts of both programs are being led by new faces.

Dan Mullen announced today that both Orji and Arnold will play QB on Saturday... UNLV got two QB's who can light up the scoreboard? I think not.

The numbers have been run. Last year's qualifiers did very well, they were not posted here so we will let this year's results be what they may.
TCU -9 (Shows would still qualify up to TCU -10.5)
New Mexico State +32

New team for both programs. I believe I'm getting the better QB with Memphis and letting the rest of the variance sort itself out.
Best of luck to you as well Snuf

Surely we are aware that oddsmakers have strong connections inside programs and know about potential injuries long before any of us.
This TCU WR ain't Jeremiah Smith or Malachi Toney. I have to believe the move off -9 was the public "buying the news" after the news hit the wire.

I'm going to finish what I am playing for this week here and then post the entire list of qualifiers in a follow-up reply, as some of these you will need to bet it and forget it if you want to ride the lightning against some teams who can call their score if they want to.

A month ago, I would have told you that 8-4 would be a great season for LSU and that it would have the program heading in the right direction for more success to come in the next 2 years. Now, I can't see how 9-3 is not looked at as a failure. Between the amount of money Lane took to come to LSU and build his roster along with all of the challenges against of NCAA and SEC rules for players who left to pursue an NFL career to be able to come back to play for him that has created a media frenzy and it will be that way as long as these lawsuits continue along with every week one of those players makes a play. They will be under the most heavily zoomed in microscope from this point forward. The distractions will be plentiful. Lane and LSU Athletics have brought every single one on themselves. It's one thing to bring all of that on a locker room that has spent a lot of time around each other and really cares for one another but LSU is about to have to make roster cuts of their own for these guys to come back. Guys who weren't there for spring ball, summer workouts, fall camp will be told "I know you were excited about being a Tiger, but I can get new NFL guys on our roster the day before the first game." and that will establish a new precedent for players to test the NFL waters.
Can anyone tell me why the NCAA and its participating members can establish that a college golfer can not accept money from making cuts on the PGA Tour in very limited starts without relinquishing their amateur status, but now football players can go and sign a professional contract, then come back to a different contract back at the college level?
