DrFade - Beamer have stated 3 days ago that he will not be starting Taylor if he's not 100%. Glennon is definitely the starter for VT. In a game of this magnitude i can't find myself putting money on Glennon.
jlt9889 - Spaziani calls his defense based on what type of team VT is playing, but there are certain play-makers on the team that he allows to play according to that player's own style. Against a team like VT, i'd like to think they'll be stacking 7 in the box like they did versus GA Tech. More so in this game because Branden Ore is generally a north-south runner. Only 1 or 2 times per game you'll see a tail-back sweep or screen play to the sides for Branden Ore. If the BC front 7 can shut down Ore like they did versus Tashard Choice, VT will be very predictable on offense. This is where Spaziani's defensive "play-makers" comes in. Up front, Brace and Smith takes care of Branden Ore's A-gaps as they wrestle with Shuman, Render and Graham. Alex Albright is the designated pass rusher on the left end; on the right end Nick Larkin generally plays his man up front or drops into zone on pass plays. Alex Albright is an undersized DE (more under-weight than height) and you'll be seeing him run around Nick Marshawn most of the night. If Herzlich starts at middle today, he'll most likely play zone all night as Glennon is not the scrambling threat that Tyrod Taylor is. BC linebackers do not play wide versus rushing teams that attack at the nose. Just look at how they line up versus GA Tech and versus Bowling Green. Dejuan Tribble and Jamie Silva are the other play-makers that protects pass well. When i watch Jamie Silva play, Bob Sanders of the Indianapolis Colts comes to mind. That boy is good.
swenny88 - I agree about the special teams part. The weather usually helps the home team and i can forsee the VA Tech special teams making something happen.
A C grade for Johnny Ayers doesn't bode well versus a Va Tech team that loves to block punts.
Other interesting tidbit, Johnny Ayers faced off against Daisuke Matsuzaka on campus early in the year and hit a line-drive on his first at bat. What's a punter to do when the Crimson and Gold aren't scrimmaging in Spring?

Big Daddy Kane,
Watch out for this game. This is a Thursday night special...the on the field match-ups doesn't factor in the VT SUPERBOWL. Majority of the public on BC 60-65%----#2-----Ranking and getting points...Fishy to me.

Oh chit. For some reason i kept thinking that the Air Force and New Mexico game was tomorrow. Hahaha.
I'll finish transcribing the players ratings and post that play in an hour or so.
