i like l'ville in this spot. they hold an edge in free throw %, defense, rebounding, and turnovers. syracuse has the edge in points per game and field goal %. both have played tough competition and both have done well which is pretty obvious with their rankings. if you're the type of person that looks into common opponents, look no further than pitt. l'ville handed pitt their first loss (@ l'ville) and cuse lost to pitt (@ pitt) by 12. i usually don't put too much weight in common opponents.

l'ville.....RPI 11.....SOS 10
cuse.....RPI 12......SOS 28

l'ville is 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games overall.
l'ville is 8-2 ATS in their last 10 Sunday games.
l'ville is 20-6-1 ATS in their last 27 road games.

i still feel l'ville is a possible final 4 team. i had them in the beginning of the season as one and continue to feel that way despite their 3 loses. this will be a tough test for them, but i'm backing them with a semi-large play today.
