the general rule with college games at pinny

 

higher max = big east, acc, big10

lower max = mid major conference

regular size max wager = everything else.

for nba ...circled on nationally televised games

here are all the games circled in blue today

NCAA

michst/purdue

terps/duke

vtech/fsu

uconn/cuse

louisville/nd

 

nba

celtics/76ers

lower max wager = atl/bulls

can you explain this better?  Game circled in blue...what does that indicate about the possible outcome?  KK was onto something as most public was on, for example, BC, and this site had Clemson in blue, if I remeber correctly...Clemson killed them!  What is the site, too???  Do you need to sign up???

I was all over Georgia too, stopped checking the score...turned back, and it was tied at 53...WTF is saying it mildly!!!!

You are on to something with the "flagged" games, I noticed the same thing about six weeks ago and have been tracking it, fading the public on the flagged games is hitting over 67%.

Is there a trick to doing business with Pinnacle?  I used to have an account with them and they closed it, supposedly to all US Citizens.

bob probert- it doesn't say anything about the games. pinnacle allows you to bet more on games in the acc, big east and big10.

i'm not saying it won't work, i am just a bit skeptical on it. i think its been a recent string of good luck for the books that the dogs for these conferences are covering.

sdst line is right where its suppose to be. unlv will give them all kinds of fits tonight

Thought that myself, but I'm no Mountain west expert and SharpStick is Taking UNLV...But I do like BYU by 4.

You are right about them flagging Nationally televised games, but they would not flag a game with action not anywhere close to 50/50 and yet they are still flagging some of these game, and it seems like the Public favorite is losing alot.

only one so far today with heavy Public action

What do you know. Another heavy Public bet team and a flagged game and the Public gets killed.

LOUSVILLE +1 (I bet an extremely small amount on this for tracking purposes, going to bet this forreal next time it comes up)

The one thing that is for sure. Anytime a book limits a game or circles it. There is a risk for them losing a lot of money. Thats why they do it. Take the Super Bowl for example. Bookmaker will take a 50K bet on the spread but the totals limit is 10K. The biggest game of the year betting wise.

Totals can mathmatically be figured out.  Books don't have a crystal ball. Totals are set by averages. Thats why CBB games the 1st half and 2nd half  totals Max bet is 1K.

 

Take the Bucknell and Laf game it was a nice 1st half average over. It hit to. That was a circled game $500.00 was the max bet for the 1st half over. Not exactly a high profile game that was seeing a lot of action.

Hell, I had flagged plays written down, but did not bet, too scared!!! Bet my regular plays and lost. My bad damn bad luck!!
