I don't know how your sportsbook works, but at Pinnacle they have certain games flagged as either a higher maximum bet or a lower max bet. Usually I would think nothing of this, but lately I started sort of paying attention to it, since there has to be some reason why they do this. I have tracked 3 or so games in the last week and the same thing happened each time for the gamers flagged as HIGHER max bets.
Heres the games (I can Remember off the top of my head) that I followed with higher maximums.
St. Johns -2? Vs Seton Hall -- St. Johns was a heavy public bet, they lost.
Two from last night.
L.A. Lakers -2 vs Miami Heat -- Lakers were heavy public favorite, they lost.
New York Knicks +6 vs. Dallas Mavericks -- NYK was a heavy Public bet, they got killed.
There was a couple more that I can't think of right now. Anyways I'm not saying I am onto to anything yet, but I will be looking to keep following this for the next couple of weeks, and was kind of wondering if anyone else has ever payed attention to this?
