Decent squads, but none of those teams are as good as Washington, period.

CAL BEARS swept WU so they must be close to as good.

BRUINS have the talent to beat a ranked team eventually. The 5th attempt seems like good timing

Kamala the Uganda Nightmare -- I'll take Washington when the chips are down, though you have to give credit to the Bears for sweeping the season series, no doubt. As to UCLA beating a ranked team, I thought the 3rd try would be the charm... and then the 4th try... and now I'm starting to think that maybe, just maybe, these guys aren't as good as I thought they were (as much as it saddens me to say that).

Kapono.....I respect your UCLA thoughts but I feel this is a terrible spot for Washington here....Revenge, UCLA on back to back losses....UCLA losing to ASU and Zona both on the road is not bad losses....I agree with you that this is not the same UCLA as old as your boys are young.....

I have to disagree with you about Cal not being as good as Washington as Cal beat them twice, but only should have been once as the Huskies blew the game at home....Cal is a damn good team as you know....They beat Stanford by 34 ......I like your boys tonight....GL with your plays

Kamala -- and the problem with this game is that, to cover, UCLA doesn't just have to win (something they haven't done to a ranked team this year), they have to win BIG.

Kap, what style of play do you see UCLA trying to implement tonight?

I have noticed in the past when things got tough Howland goes back to DEFENSE! 

Think that's the case here??? They seem pretty Offensive minded as of late and they're playing Washington.

consiglieri -- I think Howland will tell the team to push on turnovers, but I don't think that he wants to get into a track meet with Washington. I'd lean UNDER on this game, but with the Pac-10 refs you are really gutsy playing unders. Those idiots love blowing the whistle and making an impact on the game.

I think the shifty refs to which you speak will decide this game.  Being a Berkeley grad, I'm pretty sure I know which crew (Libbey!) will get assigned tonight, and I do think the FTs get reversed.

kapono, thx for the info and opinion on this game. Now, about Aboya not being 100%, I wouldn't know about that, and I'll take your word for it. But about him not eating solids for three days, I do know that will only give your body a break, and will give you lots of energy, as your body assimilates nutrients a whole lot easier through liquids, and your body spends a lot less energy trying to metabolize them. So not taking in solids is good. Just my two cents... BOL...

cruz -- Without being snarky, if you don't think there is value in the moneyline for Washington, you haven't been following Washington, UCLA, and the Pac-10 closely.

The last time I thought there was huge value in a moneyline for a team playing against UCLA was when they got beat by Michigan earlier in the year.

Is no one else concerned that a large majority of the cappers on this forum seem to be on UCLA, and not just on a UCLA a little bit, but on UCLA large? We could be looking at a covers bloodbath here.

Chiludo -- yes, I know, it was freaking brutal. I was on UCLA LARGE for the Arizona State game. That was one of the worst endings in my gambling career as it was a double stomach punch game. Effing Pac-10 refs, such garbage, it still infuriates me to think about it.

My local has given me UW +9............which I took.

 However.......the Dawgs have shown a propensity to get down big early in many games & then claw their way back. I'd consider taking UCLA for the 1st half.........

He hasn't cost me a lot of money because I find myself betting the Pac-10 so rarely.  But he sure has caused me a lot of pain as a Bears fan.

im a huge ucla fan but would bet on UW to cover...that spread is not right and way too high....but i cant bet against my bruins and watch this game so im staying away...but line is way too much...if bruins win it will be by 3-4

UCLA Large Have mad respect for washington but this is a bad spot for them. You know ive been hot lately too kapono 8-1 and posted plays.
