Chiludo -- yes, I know, it was freaking brutal. I was on UCLA LARGE for the Arizona State game. That was one of the worst endings in my gambling career as it was a double stomach punch game. Effing Pac-10 refs, such garbage, it still infuriates me to think about it.
Me too Kap. The Darren Collison charge at the end of the game was a horrific call. I tivo'd it like 500 times..... it was not even close to a charge. And the worse part was ASU had an identical play go their way two minutes earlier on the other end. These f'n Pac 10 officials can't even keep it consistent.
They're (Pac 10 officials) are the reason I won't bet Pac-10 games anymore. You're right when you say they're the worst in the country...they are by a landslide. I bet you those a-holes decide tonight's game as well.
BOL to everyone - I'll be watching

Kap, great write-up! I only sniff around the NCAAB talk on Thursdays and Saturdays (you know why) otherwise I'm neck deep in NBA capping (I can't seem to win in NCAAB).
Folks, I couldn't agree more. I'm a Pac-10 homer as well (Beavers baby!) and +8.5 to the conference's best team has me salivating....not to mention the great value for ML (+315 at my book).
I think this is going to be an amazing game and a very CLOSE game. I don't see one reason why the Dawgs cant win this one. I can say the same the other way. I may do 1 unit on the 8.5 and 1/2 a unit on the ML....just because.
Beavers at home getting 4 points to a team they've beaten. This is the closing homestand for the Beavs. Obama...errr...Robinson should have the troops well prepared to play well tonight. I like my Beavs to win SU!!

Kamala -- and the problem with this game is that, to cover, UCLA doesn't just have to win (something they haven't done to a ranked team this year), they have to win BIG.
Hasn't their avg. margin of victory been about 20 points in their last 10 home games, excluding that loss to AZ St.? They did crush CAL & AU along the way.

Brandon -- glad to see you agree with me on this. I was absolutely appalled to wake up and see what I expected to be a -2, -2.5 at best line come out at -8.5. Totally shocked. In addition to the top team in the conference catching 8.5 on the road, they are also catching the Bruins in a bad spot as I detailed above.
Everyone reading this thread -- look at what people who either follow the Pac-10 closely or, more importantly, those who follow UCLA closely are saying.
Every. single. person. thinks this line is at least 4 points off -- and people are still jumping on the Bruins.
Kamala -- Yes, they have been excellent at home recently and in the last 10, but they haven't really played anyone all that great. The one good team they did play during that stretch (Arizona State) they lost to in overtime.

Cover comes down to if Washington is getting the foul calls that they are used to..the team usually gets a lot of free throw attempts per game..but if the refs let them bang this game is a rout big time. UW will be lucky to shoot above 43 percent from the field...I believe they will struggle big time.
